Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Great Car - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I just traded in my 2007 Jeep GC, for this car. I love it so much, it was a great purchase. The car is getting great gas mileage (28 mpg) even though I have only been driving it 2 weeks. I expect it to break in about 3 months. I find that the features of the car are super nice for a low-end model. Daytime running lights, rain sensing wipers, Text display radio w/MP3, steering wheel controls, AUX input. Most of these I did not even get on my $30K Jeep. Maybe i am used to driving a 6-cyl, but this car is fast from 0-60 for just a 4-cyl. Great speed in 2nd and 3rd gear. Only downside so far was the wheels. I plan to buy some nice rims in the spring.

  • Should Be But Isnt - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

Ive always owned a Honda except for a 6 mth period of a Nissan, and I can say this will be my last one. I bought the Honda in January of 2013. By 4/12/2013, Im ready to return it. By February, the car developed rattles in the sunroof, front dash, back quarter panel, driver-side door, and center console. It has been in for these rattles 3 different times. Furthermore, the infotainment (audio/navi) system is the most unreliable software Ive ever experienced. It constantly crashes, stops responding, sends extremely loud static. The UI is backwards and cumbersome. It is so version 1.0 it shouldnt have been released. I should have bought a Ford. Honda says an update is inprogress.

  • The BEST CAR EVER!!! - 2016 Honda Accord

This car is amazing!!! Solidly built, awesome looking, and amazing interior! The outside is amazing. I never thought that they could look better in 2013, but Honda really did it now. The LED light bars in the rear are very noticeable, and handsome. Same with the front. Interior, the seats are very comfortable, even with some back problems. Great technology. Drives and handles amazing. Overall, I have nothing negative to say about this car!! Its amazing, to say the least! Buy it!!! You will not regret it.

  • Mileage Surprise - 2005 Honda Accord
    By -

EPA rates this V6 Honda EX at 22/28 MPG, but I have found that the mileage is much better, at least for highway driving. I curise at 65 to 70+ MPH on the road and have consistantly computed 35 MPG and sometimes 38. On opnly one occasion I got 33. With the cost of gas this is a nice surprise. Since the car is new, I expect that mileage to get better over time. The rest of the car is excellent, but thats why I bought it. The XM radio is fun.

  • It was worth the wait! - 1998 Honda Accord
    By -

Finally, after 20 years I own a Honda Accord. I owned a Civic, purchased new and had for 6 yrs. Great car. Thought I needed a big car and went to a Park Ave., boy was that a mistake. So after owning a 1994 Park, for 2 years, I found my dream car. A 1998 Honda Accord LX V6 Sedan. Black with fin. What a beauty. I love my Honda!!! Such classy styling and handles like a dream. The V6 gives me the power to manuver well on the highway. If you ever wanted a Honda, the Accord has my vote.

  • #2 - 1992 Honda Accord

I have owned my Accord EX Coupe since 1998 and have had NO major problems. I have put 76,000 miles on it.

  • Do not buy V6 AT - 2009 Honda Accord
    By -

As a Honda fan since 80 (first Civic) and having gone through every model since, I was pumped to get rid of my 95 accord with 240K on it. My search of reviews indicated the 09 Accord coupe was a good buy. Then I bought it and reality set in. The car constantly hunts between cylinders and when not on cruise control and is the most irritating thing I have ever experienced. Perhaps it is the letdown from my emotional attachment to Hondas. While I like everything else about the car, the VCM constantly changing speed trumps all that - and therefore DO NOT BUY.
