Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • The Accord is a quality car! - 2005 Honda Accord

I just bought a 2-door LX Accord Coupe (4-cyl.,automatic) and it is a great car! It seems to handle better than my Camry did and the ride is just as smooth. The car is reasonably quiet inside and unlike the Camry, I do not hear any annoying vibrations coming from the dash and other places. The Accord seems to be a well-built, reliable and fun car. Though it is a 4-cylinder, it has plenty of power when needed and still gets great mileage. I am hooked on this car.

  • not so good - 2005 Honda Accord

New 6cyl Accord Lx. Wind noise is very noticable at higher speeds. Road noise is terrible at all speeds. Hard riding. Rattles at 4m miles. My 95 Accord was a better car.

  • no bmw but 10K less - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

This is actually my first Honda. When I bought it I was amazed at the trim level for the price. This has all the bells and whistles. Having researched it mostly on edmunds.com, there were no surprises, except for a little for torque steer than expected. It is extremely fun to drive, fit and finish is fantastic, the oversteer could easily be corrected, at the price, it has no peer and is 10k less then a comparable BMW

  • good on power not on handle - 2006 Honda Accord

Just bought 2006 LX V6 and drove 450 miles. Engine is good and has enough power, Nice quality inside and outside. City/Highway is about 20 mile/gallon. This car is not as solid as our 2003 VW passat on highway. The reason why we bought Accord is its history of reliability. Our 2003 VW Passat has too many problem although it is much more fun to drive than Accord. We almost sent Passat back to repair every three months. Our Acccord has too much road noise. It is a very soft driving car. When you push hard, first thing you feel is the "lag".

  • Better than expected - 2010 Honda Accord

This is my 1st accord. The fit and finish is great, best Ive seen. The engine is quiet, smooth and very powerful. I had previously driven a 4 cyl and was worried about the road noise, but the v-6 seems much quieter (dont know why). The stereo and XM are awesome much better than expected. And the gas mileage seems to be about 25 mpg combined. We drove a 390 mile trip this past week and is was ultra smooth, low road noise and it was extremely composed in the snow and ice we had to drive through, the traction contol really helped. And the seats are good, you just have to get them set correctly, passengers is powered also, is a nice touch. Back seat is cavernous.

  • I Love My Car - 1999 Honda Accord

I have the EX model - leather seats, moon roof, etc. I love this car.

  • Cant Get The Smile Off My Face - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I considered many vehicles; test drove a few and "settled" on the Accord EX-L V6. Is it a pure drivers or enthusiast car? No, its not. Instead it just offers a very solid feel, more then competent acceleration, tons of very comfortable space, great sounding audio, decent fuel economy and handles more Germanic then Japanese. It brings a smile when I look at it parked, and the smile only widens as I move down the road. Visually appealing, great tactile feel from all that you touch in the cabin, and if your right foot develops an attitude, youll find both whatÂ’s under the hood and all the chassis components more then up to the task of keeping that smile in place.

  • Nice car for the price - 2008 Honda Accord

My 2 door Accord coupe v-6 looks and rides great. The 268 horses work just fine. The VCM works perfectly and has not given me any problems. The brakes could be better in order to stop after hard acceleration. I love the way the automatic shifts and down shifts as you are coming to a stop. If you are looking for a nice 2 door coupe this is it. My old solara was a truck next to the Accord

  • Powerful but expectted better mpg - 2005 Honda Accord

Drives nice. A little bit of a jerk on initial acceleration. Roomy and comfortable. Gas mileage much less than expected. Fun to drive.

  • What a Great First Car! - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

What else can I say about this car that hasnt been already said by Edmunds and other auto. publications. Ive owned the car since January 2003 and have loved every minute of it. The styling takes a little bit of time to get used to, but the interior is well done. Typical Honda fit and finish, supportive leather heated seats and the glowing instrumentation. Last but not least, the engine. 240hp! Smooth, with just a little hint of a muted growl when you get on it.
