Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Five New Accords and Still Buying - 2006 Honda Accord
By Austin McCown - October 4 - 9:00 amThis is really a great little car. It is extremely dependable. This is not my first Accord. If it proves to be, as it has so far, having the dependability of its older brothers, it will be unbeatable. It is a blast to drive, handling like one of the cars in the 40-50K price range. I do wish they would improve on the quality of the leather. It just isnt durable. Cheap leather coupled with cheap vinyl! The brakes are also still a problem. I am already seeing signs of problems. These are my main complaints. I dont understand why Honda cant get the brakes to be more efficient. Other than that, I love my Accord. I was at 1st concerned about the 4-cyl. Not to worry! Power Plus!!!!!

Great car without the "fun factor"... - 2005 Honda Accord
By Dr. Karl - October 2 - 2:10 pmHonda once again manages to build a quality vehicle. Great conmfort and power package for under $30K. Powerful engine at high rpms but sedan V6 would benefit from manual transmission or manumatic. Stopping distance adequate but disappointing, and brake wear/life is is pitiful. Otherwise, a nice entry- level family sedan with many features for the money... But if youre looking for a "fun-to- drive" element in this vehicle, you may be disappointed; that is why I sold my 2004 Accord EX-V6 so I could invest in a more gratifying sedan experience...

the car stalled the first day. - 2006 Honda Accord
By phil - October 2 - 8:46 amthe car died while driving two times the first week, I brought it back twice and they figured it out, loose wire, no problem with car other than poor fuel mileage, 20-26 mpg. Going back for first oil change hoping they will be able to improve mileage, sticker-26-34 mpg.

I have the 2005 version - 2004 Honda Accord
By Toader - September 30 - 1:40 pmHad to replace my 2001 after an accident with a 2005. The Accord is top notch. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable Sedan. The body styling is nice, wind noise was very quiet, handling is sweet. I think it still lacks some small refinements that would make this a truly outstanding car. Mine is black with the tan interior. I should have gotten the navigation but didnt since Im leasing it. The 4 cyl had far more kick than I expected with the bonus of higher gas mileage than the V6.

A few little quirks - 2008 Honda Accord
By George m - September 29 - 3:53 amI have certainly enjoyed driving my new Accord coupe. The few areas where I have been a little disappointed is in the fuel economy. I have been babying the gas pedal for the first 1000 miles, but Im still averaging about 21-22 mpg. Some of that is likely atributed to warming the car up for about 4 to 5 minutes on cold mornings. Also, about 60% of my driving is on local roads. However, my old Audi A4(4cyl turbo) would average 26-27mpg driving the same routes (but driving a bit more agressively). My cd changer also makes some noise every few minutes as if its changing cds (even when the audio system is turned off). My overall experience is possitive, but I expected a little better.

Satisfied owner - 2003 Honda Accord
By mnsmiley - September 28 - 10:00 amOur 5th Honda Accord, and the best one yet. Each one has gotten bigger, more powerful, and friendlier. This one feels more like a floater than a quick fighter. Great engine, brakes, and interior finish. Much better air control and comfort. Cant beat heated seats in Minnesota.

Great Car !!!! - 2003 Honda Accord
By ItalianPaul - September 28 - 10:00 amBefore buying my EX V6 I took a look at all of the other mid size cars out there including the Acuras, BMWs, Toyotas Audis, Mercs, GMs ,etc. This Honda V6 has the a better combination of power, comfort, build quality than them all. Its roomy, fast, and very comfortable.
