Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Great Car, Great Value - 2004 Honda Accord
By wrinkledoc - October 29 - 2:00 amI have had the car for two weeks and love it. It is a second car for driving the kids. I also have an M3 convertible. I have to admit Im as happy driving the Honda as I am the Bimmer. For the quality, features, luxury, and ride quality this cannot be beat. When the bimmer lease is up I may just stick with the Accord. If you purchase this car you will not regret it.

Nice car - 2004 Honda Accord
By Damnit - October 29 - 2:00 amFun to drive, excellent gas mileage... My 3rd Accord and I enjoy it. Some interior noise noted: cracking sound coming from dash/windshield area when hitting bumps in road. Also have noticed a couple of paint flaws... Dull areas where there appears to be no clear coat. Overall, I am fairly pleased

Keep making them like this!!! - 2000 Honda Accord
By Johnny Honda - October 29 - 2:00 amIve owned Hondas for years but never an Accord sedan. This car is truly magnificent. It has the pick-up of a sports car (200 HP) and carpools like a champ! You can find all kinds of after market accessories to jazz up the design because lets face it, its not all that swell from the factory. Make sure you maintain the maintenance schedule as recommended and youll never have a problem!

Great Car Overall, very minor gripes - 2003 Honda Accord
By jvbeattie - October 29 - 2:00 amPros: Great engine- peppy and good on gas (Manual/4cyl). Car feels very nimble and well balanced, probably more so than the top-heavy V6. Headlights are the best Ive seen, and the brights are incredible - lighting up the sides of the road to give you better peripheral night-time vision. Cons: not many. Brakes are a bit touchy – especially when just warming up (LX with front disc/rear drum). Intermittent wipers are sometimes inconsistent between wiping intervals. Last and least – the gas light comes on a little too soon for me – at just under a quarter of a tank. Overall am very pleased, this car is a real bargain.

Dont Waste your $$ - 2001 Honda Accord
By slnc2001 - October 29 - 2:00 amThere are some good things and some bad things about this car. The first 5,000 miles were great, but after that it seemed that I had to have things fixed or replaced once a month. New speaker twice, new struts, etc... Would not recommend buying this car used...luckily most of the things that needed to be replaced were under warranty. This is my second Accord, and like the previous one, the factory tires suck...I needed new tires on my 01 at 20,000 miles...really needed them before that due to hydroplaning on very little water. If you purchase this accord, plan to spend a lot on maintenance and repairs.

Perfect value for money! - 2017 Honda Accord
By Alex - Long Island, NY - October 26 - 12:28 pmI have no complaints after driving 6 months and 4000 miles. Before having this one I had 2008 Camry, 2012 Altima, and I cannot tell you how Accord beats them in every way. It has better mileage, super handling, perfect price / performance. The CVT is much much better than Nissan’s CVT, very smooth and responsive, and better than sluggish auto transmissions ( look at 2018 Camry 8 speed). I get average 29 mpg with 60% city 40% highway driving. I love heated leather interior, it is beautiful in and out. Highly recommended who needs dependable, responsive and great looking family sedan.

Honda Gets It Right - 2008 Honda Accord
By Va CubsFan - October 26 - 2:33 amHonda really got it all right with the 2008 Accord. From the interior finishes to the flawless way the V6 engine moves from 6 to 3 to 4 back to 6 cylinder operation. This vehicle has all the pep to move with the best of them on the interstate and still provide the gas mileage we need with high prices at the pump. Honda seems to have thought of everything by packing the Accord with every imaginable feature including XM radio that the Toyota dealer wanted $700 for to install in a new Camry I have driven the Accord on an interstate and the acceleration to merge was immediate without the hesitation I found when test driving a Camry 6 cylinder. 2008 Car of the Year!

Fun to drive, but uncomfortable!!! - 2008 Honda Accord
By Jesse - October 25 - 11:23 pmI like my Accord very much, but had I known the drivers seat was so uncomfortable I would have never bought it. Its really hard to tell when you take a car for a 10 minute test drive, but now that I own it, I cant drive for more than an hour without back pain (Im only 26!). And forget the so called "lumbar support". Youd be better off putting a brick behind your back (whats in that seat, iron?). Overall, I have no other complaints about the car. I did have one experience during a winter snowstorm when the check engine light came on. Took it to the shop and by that time, it was already off and they couldnt find anything wrong with it. Fun to drive, stylish, etc.
