Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Needs Something - 2003 Honda Accord

I do believe this car to be an excellent buy. Good all around grocery getter. It can sure get up and go! 0-80 in nothing flat. Just hope theres no corners! Car does not handle well if you push it in corners, very unpredictable. The front end likes to dive hard when braking and cornering then it seems to not know were to go when you back out of the gas. This is were this car NEEDS SOMETHING. I know this is just a family sedan but has the potental to be up there with the BMWs and other heavy weights. Maybe a wider tire and wheel? I do like the car and would recommend it.

Five years and 126,500 miles later Ive traded in my Civic EX for an Accord EX V6. Ive only driven it a few times, but on my first test drive I knew it was the car for me, just as I did when I bought my Civic. Its sporty, luxurious, and nicely priced. Though my experience with the Accord is very short, my experience with my Civic gives me great confidence that this vehicle will also be a joy to own.

  • Accord EX V-6 Coupe w/Leather - 2003 Honda Accord

Overall a very good looking car and very comfortable to drive. Had a problem with the sash moldings around the windows wrinkling up on both sides and the trunk latch was not installed correctly.

  • problem with radio or? - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

I like the car, think it is very comfortable, agree with other issues, center console lid should slide so can use as arm rest, but get use it and I am short. Anyways, having issues with the radio with static and have had all the presets disappear one time now (they did come back after a while). The issue acts like a short, went to the dealer and they said have another similar complaint, they said Honda says it is a software problem, wish they told me when I called an made and showed up for the service appt. The problem is not fixed, googled the issue. I didnt see anything about it. This is irritating. Asked if Honda would call me or if I had to call them again and told didnt know.

  • a/c-heater rattle - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Had the car a year. Great gas mileage for a v-6. Terrible rattle in a/c- heater area, sounds like a Ping-Pong ball bouncing around inside when a/c is on. Noticed it a couple months after buying & after several trips to dealer, they duplicated noise and replaced heater sub-assembly. Noise went away, until couple weeks ago and its back. Very annoying. Hoping to hear from someone experiencing same problem - looking for help.

  • Diappointed - 2007 Honda Accord

bottomlin: 2007 Honda Accord EX-L disappoints. Compared to the competition, it hold its ground but compared to previous Accords, it fails misebrably. i have owned a 2002 Honda Accord and a 2006 Toyota Camry in addtion to this 2007 Honda Accord EX-L. Things I dont like: The interior material is cheap and subpar. the 2002 accord has superior interior craftsmanship. 2007 accord has black leather interior. the leather is of the cheapest quality. it emits a fould odor like bad body odour.the pillar and roof are light grey while the rest of the car is black. it is supposed to be black uniformly but the dashboard is dark black plastic while the vinyl dashboard is grey. no black uniformity.

  • Top of the heap - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Excellent car! Have put on 6000 miles, so far, very good. Smooth, not as loud as some indicated. 4 cyl 190 HP engine, best in class. Very good mileage, getting about 28 mpg combined highway, and I have a heavy foot. Drives more like a BMW, but a fraction of the cost. Loaded with just about everything you think of. Past Honda Accord driver, no doubt, this is the best they produced. Very tight, runs great, very comfortable to drive. Compared to many sedans in this market, and all are very good cars. The accord comes out on top.

  • A bad taste in my mouth - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I purchased my 08 Accord, March 08. Since that time I have had navi replaced, brakes started squeaking at 4k miles, I was told this was normal by dealership, maybe weather related, followed regular maintenance and complained about brake noise during service intervals total of 5 complaints, at 13k had to have complete brake system replaced. I have decided to the file a lemon law complaint. This process seems lengthy but I am very unhappy with this purchase. I should have stayed with my first chioce BMW. This is my 5th Honda and my last. Lemons are sour! yuck!
