Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

I just bought my 1st Honda. My last car was an 02 Toyota Camry. I really liked that car and it was difficult for me to decide between the 07 camry and the 06 accord. I bought the accord due to its exceptional interior, its quality, and the price I received. I very much enjoy the sunroof, the leather seats, the xm radio, and the interior in general. The only thing that I miss with the camry is the smooth ride. The Accord is quiet and smooth until you go over bumps, and its more rougher than Im used to. But, I think it will be easy to overlook that with all the other fine features of the Accord.

I truly love the vehicle. Extremly well built. If there was a con to the vehicle it would be slight road noise.

  • Its a Honda - what more can you say? - 2008 Honda Accord

Looking at the many other coupes available, this is the best car for the money. The EX-L comes with many standard options that make you feel like youre driving a luxury car. Overall very happy with the car, plus I have been asked many times about it on the street. People just look at and smile!

Beautiful car. Fun to drive. When you step on the gas it goes and when you step on the brake it stops. Can really get you out of some tight spots. A really neat automobile. Its a Honda!. I remember the ad on this particular Honda, was the guy that went to the Dr. with the lead foot. Dr. I dont whats wrong every since I bought my new car...

  • Good machine with uncomfortable seats - 2008 Honda Accord

My 08 Accord EXL-V6 has been reliable over the past 6 months with only a few minor rattles which were fixed by dealer(loose fog lights). Still enjoy interior and exterior styling as well as overall performance and handling. However, long-distance comfort(over 2 hours) is poor due to hard, narrow and deeply-bucketed seats combined with a very taut suspension which transmits even minor road imperfections through the whole vehicle. The seat contour creates uncomfortable pressure points which quickly become tiring and downright painful.

Looking for a four door midsize sedan. Was open to all makes and models and test drove several different ones. Narrowed down to the Hyundai Sonata and the Honda Accord. Bottom line, got a great deal on the Accord V6 EXL model and couldnt be happier. Have owned the car four months now. Taken a few short trips. Am happy with the V6 power but, am pleasantly surprised of the outstanding fuel mileage for this V6 averaging over 31 mpg which was a mix of freeway driving and stop and go traffic. Very comfortable car to ride in and enjoy all of the features. Only issue have the older style flip cell phone. It has blue tooth but, for whatever reason, I cannot initiate calls from the car, only receive them. Not a huge deal for me as I am not much of a talker on the phone while I am driving. In addition, took me a while to set the preset stations on the radio, as this is the first model I have owned that is fully touch screen. One area for improvement, the front doors open nice and wide making it easy to get in, but once in the vehicle, it is a big reach to close them. Wish they had a door handle on the inside to grab for better ease of closing the door.

  • I like it a lot - 2005 Honda Accord

I was actually in the market for a Mazda3, but the Mazda dealerships must think that they have a gold mine because they were not giving me anywhere near my trade-in value that Honda gave me (Almost $3000 more)! I wasnt even considering the Honda until my wife told me how much she enjoyed hers from a few years back so I figured Id take one out for a spin. Boy was I surprised! The car was a lot peppier than the Mazda3 and I liked the feel of the cockpit much better. I actually drove the V6 auto, but I like the 4cyl 5 spd much better. The shifts are smooth and the engine just keeps climbing. All in all, this is a great little car and I am very happy with it!

  • I love this car! - 1998 Honda Accord

My first car, and it is a gem. The only problems I have had so far is so- so gas mileage, but I live in the city, and a touchy battery terminal that resets my programmed radio stations, other than that the car has great pick up and is really fun to drive.

  • awesome/dependable car - 1997 Honda Accord

I bought this car in february after months of searching for it after my 1990 LX was totalled. I love this car even better than the first one i owned. It performs very well, as I have won every race ive ever been in it with. Its also very stylish and i would recommend it to anyone, youll have fun driving it, and theres plenty of stuff out there u can buy to make it a little more fun if you want.

I have had this car for about 9 months now, and I love it. It is smooth and quiet on the freeway, and has just enough punch to be fun to drive. I wish the suspension was a little tighter in the turns, but hey, this is a family car. The maunal trans and clutch are so smooth and easy to use almost anyone should be able to drive this car.
