Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Nice car, missing mini-extras - 2007 Honda Accord
By Kathy - December 1 - 3:06 pmI traded in my 2004 Lincoln LS for this car and waited two months before writing this review to be fair. This car has a little better mileage than my LS and not require premium gas like my LS. Missing some of the little things that would make this car really special.

Honda Accord 06 - 2006 Honda Accord
By Mark Moye - November 30 - 1:25 pmGreat car. Good on gas. Bought it at 92,000 miles. Have 125,000 miles on it now and just replaced the timing belt and fan belt. Should get another 90,000 miles out of it. I deliver pizzas in it and it is excellent on gas. Synthetic oil only i use every 4,000 miles. Great car!!!

So far so good. - 2007 Honda Accord
By Selles - November 29 - 2:00 pmI did too much research and this was the best choice for my budget. This car has a very high reliability rating. I wanted something that could handle pot holes a little better than a compact sedan and this does that. Its not as good at handling potholes as an SUV but it handles a lot better on the highway than an SUV. You could comfortably travel across the country with four adults and a ton of luggage. The car is very quiet on the highway. Im sure the V6 is even more quite but this 4 cylinder engine sips gas and has no problem accelerating to get on the expressway.

Drivers Seat very uncomfortable - 2009 Honda Accord
By soreback - November 27 - 6:06 pmThe drivers seat is very uncomfortable, and I didnt really notice this discomfort until after a 30 minute drive. The seat cushion on the bench part of the seat (the part of the seat the fanny sits on) is way too firm. And the front of the bench part of the seat does not tilt down enough to avoid excessive pressure on the underside of the thighs. I will have to have a wedge shaped custom cushion fabricated to solve this problem. I have sat in a 1999 Honda Accord, Nissan Altimas, Toyota Camrys and Mazda 626s, and they all have much more angle adjustment on the bottom seat cushion than the 2008 Accord. Honda needs to go back to the drawing board on their front seat design for the Accord!!!

Very pleased - 2008 Honda Accord
By Phil - November 26 - 6:16 amIve had my sedan for a month now and am very happy with it. Driving this car is simply effortless - the engine is smooth and responsive, the steering is perfectly tight without feeling heavy, and the suspension handles corners well without feeling harsh over bumps. Ive made several 3+ hour trips with it and never felt worn out like I did with my previous car (a Pontiac Grand Prix).
