Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

My lemon Honda Accord - 2008 Honda Accord
By hallba24 - December 7 - 6:43 amI thought I was buying quality with Honda, however when a new vehicle needs new rear brakes at 27000 miles that is unacceptable. Especially when the dealer ship admitted it was a flawed design but still would only fix the problem for $330.00 before taxes. That is insane to think customers will come back to Honda with a reputation they are getting by not dealing with the brake problems. Honda needs to recall the brakes and reimburse all of us who made the mistake to purchase this vehicle. My advise to people is do not buy a Honda until they gain my trust again.

Excellent - 2004 Honda Accord
By Nick_C - December 6 - 10:00 amI traded in my Prelude for the Accord, and actually liked the latter better. Its got a very comfortable leather interior (EX model), smooth changing of gears and acceleration. The satellite radio is a plus. I highly recommend this vehicle.

One Major Complaint - 2008 Honda Accord
By Betty - December 5 - 5:56 pmAs an owner of 2 Honda Civics, one sporty and one hybrid I knew I wanted a Honda to replace my 6 year old Volvo. After researching the Accord sedan, CRV and Accord 2-dr coupe and then after driving them, the choice for comfort, features and function was the Accord 4 door sedan. Its a nice luxury car thats not stuffy. In a cost per feature comparison, it outdoes its counterparts the CRV and 2 door coupe. The first 3 days of ownership saw me driving in heavy rain and sleet. It was nice to have this car with its traction control just overall great handling. The only choice to be made on this car is which color to choose.. See my ONE complaint later in the review...

Nice car, but some drawbacks - 2007 Honda Accord
By dknight211 - December 5 - 5:46 amI purchased a 2007 Honda Accord Coupe LX V6 based on Hondas reputation for reliability and the good looking coupe. Its a strong car, but have discovered quite a few issues: (1) at 300 miles on the odometer, something inside the dash started rattling loudly, (2) when driving slowly (5 - 10 mph), the automatic transmission keeps jerking with a noticeable thud up and down, (3) the suspension is very rigid and you can feel all the bumps, and (4) seats are a bit uncomfortable. The jerky transmission makes me a bit worried that it will fail in a couple years.

7.5 - 2005 Honda Accord
By babak khoda - December 5 - 3:50 amits a great car for an older person trying to look young, but for an enthusaist it falls short when it comes to proformance. the car doesnt bring the driver confidence and mores has really bad understeer when cornering hard. the car is fast though, in a srait line its a lot of fun but arounds turns im constantly afraid i might understeer and crash. the interior is nice and so is the outside.

irritating details - 1995 Honda Accord
By qwerty - December 4 - 10:00 amI expected more from Honda. Frozen brake calipers cost approx 600 to fix dealership told me it was a abs problem and quoted 1700 for the fix. Midas fixed it and told me that honda keeps remanufactured calipers in stock because this happens a lot. Happened to my 95 legend and buddies 97 accord too. I think honda should have recalled the car because of this. Decent car but will not buy a honda/acura again because of long term repair issues

4-Door Accord EX 6speed manual - 2013 Honda Accord
By beanctr - December 3 - 10:33 pmHave just over 400 miles on my new Accord. The manual transmission is a joy to operate and is well matched to the engine. I am coming from an 04 G35, so I miss some of the extra HP, but the Accord is fairly peppy and the MPG improvement is outstanding. Not easy finding a manual transmission as dealer stated Honda doesnt allow you to order your vehicle. Seats are very comfortable and the dash layout is very nice. There are quality materials throughout and it doesnt feel like Honda was trying to cut cost on the interior.

Dont buy base on reviews - 2008 Honda Accord
By Earl Chanley - December 2 - 6:25 amWent over reviews on several makes and based on reviews, purchased a Honda Accord. (1) Start off dealer support is non-existent, car was recalled several times and getting in to the dealer or getting any thing done is not worth the hassel. Dealers think they are there just to sell you a car. (2) Car is nosiey, can not hear the radio on the road. (3) Fit and finish is bad, the leather interior has bubbles and torn is several areas, rubber front window molding has melted and no longer seals, not even talking about the front headlights covers. (4) Front cup holder is under the armrest and useless. (5) I have been driving for 50 years and this was the first cat that had the back brakes replaced before the front, Honda recalled but was useless in getting reimbursed (less than 30,000 miles). (6) Gas mileage is acceptable but no where near what was posted on sticker. (7) I have driven this car for ten years and is ok for a daily driver but I will not buy another Honda again.

When U Buy a Honda V6, kick ass! - 2004 Honda Accord
By bill tulbert - December 1 - 3:27 pmHonda is an Engine builder! Better engines than any I have ever owned..If only they could "better isolate the cabin", they would exceed Lexus and Mercedes for "the total car"...
