Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Best sedan for the price - 2004 Honda Accord

Purchased for less than $22K + tax, I agree with others, it is comparable to much pricier sedans. Very luxurious & loaded all around. I had been considering lower- priced cars to provide basic transportation, but decided to get something the entire family could enjoy despite the fact we have a Toyota Sienna van. The 4 cyl. is very peppy and frankly a 240hp 6 would be frustrating - it really isnt prudent or necessary to accelerate like that. The leather seats, the ride, sunroof, stereo etc, make this a car I will happily drive for a very long time. The stick shift is very smooth and rather fun, and lowers the price. The stereo & 6 disk CD changer rock.

This is a great car and I am totally satisfied with my purchase. The combination of performance, space, economy, reliability, quality, resale and value is unbeatable.

  • 1998 Accord EX --- Good, Could Be Better - 2002 Honda Accord
    By -

The Accord offers good value, but I am not without some complaints. Despite mainly highway mileage, only 26 mpg with 4 cylinder --- not good. Have had problems with cruise control since delivery. Dealer claims no problem and after 3rd attempt refused to do anything more about it --- so much for acclaimed customer service. Finish on alloy wheels has tarnished badly and has actually "peeled" off --- again, my loss. However, the car is very dependable and offers a comfortable ride. Interior is very nicely designed and car offers driver a sense of control and confidence.

  • Reliable, Reliable - 1993 Honda Accord

I bought the car new, and loved it from that day. My family had it for 7 years, 120,000 miles, and never expierenced a problem with that automobile. We finally replaced the EX Accord with an Odyssey EX. One would be suprised at how peppy the 140hp I-4 is. I reccomend this car!

  • A nine month odyssey - 2008 Honda Accord

After approx. 9 months with a 2007 Camry LE, I found the car I thought I bought. The 2008 Accord EX (no V6) is as perfect as a car can get under $30,000. Where Toyota dropped the ball on the 07 Camry, Honda picked it up and has a brilliant car. I cannot find any fault whatsoever with the EX performance - tight but very positive, smooth, exactly responsive steering, and the suspension like the rock of Gibraltar, barely transmitting bumps on the road, but not too soft or teeth-jarring like sport suspensions. The acceleration of the EX I4 puts the Camry V6 to shame.

  • Love my Accords - 2017 Honda Accord
    By -

I own three Accords and one Pilot. I love the 2017 sedan the best. I chose to stay away from the redesign as new designs usually have quirks to be worked out. Also I like the 2013-17 body styling better compared to the 18.

  • Best Coupe Under $40K Available - 2009 Honda Accord

I drove the Infinit G35 (great drive, terrible interior), the Altima Coupe (good drive, just not great), the BMW 3 Series (good drive, OVERPRICED) the Mercedes C230 (rides like a Buick), & the Toyota Camry Solara (chunky drive like the Mercedes). None of these cars compare to the Honda Accord V6 Coupe. The only ride I liked better was the G35 but its a rear wheel drive. And for that price it doesnt come with an ipod hook-up?!?!?! No other car even came close to the Accord as far as value and ride. YOU WILL LOVE IT! But drive the others so you have that, ha-ha! I got the best one feeling. Its lovely.

  • Great Car - 2003 Honda Accord

Ok, so ive had my accord for about 3 years now and ive never had a problem with her. She works just as good as the day I bought her with no work needed. I love my car and I will keep it forever.

  • No conflict with an Accord - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

Purchased the Accord in Nov. 2005 using the Edmunds referral program. The Accord Ex 4 cyl. auto w/ leather and nav. is a middle class Mercedes without the reliability problems. The ride is smooth, climate control is flawless, the radio produces rich sounds, the interior is as attractive and refined and as comfortable as cars costing $10K more. On a recent trip south, the Accord recorded 34.5 mpg on regular gas. Class, comfort, and economy--love it!

  • No Regrets!!! - 2007 Honda Accord

I looked at both the 07 SE Camry and Accord. I was more impressed by the Camry stylish body. I purchased the Accord primarily because of the interior features: More horsepower and torque, both audio and cruise on the steering wheel, standard 6 CD changer, rear seat folding with lockable pass through, and standard security system. Also, Honda cars are very reliable. I drove a 95 Honda Civic for 9 years. I am getting between 27 to 29 combined miles. One of my favorite feature is the Oil Life Display. Currently, I have 5000 miles on my new new Honda and the Oil Life is 30%.
