Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

By no means a home run. - 2018 Honda Accord
By manoj - January 7 - 5:52 amA lot of features attracted me to this car. The styling is great, Mustang inspired front, Audi RS7 inspired tail. Very roomy cabin and trunk. Semi-autonomous features that come standard, Android Auto integration etc. I have had the car for three weeks now, using it for a short daily commute and one highway trip. I am coming from a Toyota Prius and an Infiniti G35 before that. The car is far from perfect. I drive it mostly in Eco mode to conserve gas, and put it in Sport mode when merging onto traffic. Mileage I get is around 27 in the city, 35 on the highway. Things I miss from my previous cars: Having to fish out my key from the pocket (no proximity sensor), heated seats. Now the imperfections: Cabin noise at highway speeds, poorer quality sound system, static picking up local radio stations, creaking driver door latch, driver visor does not have an extension to block sun coming into your eyes, stiffening of the steering wheel combined with an overly sensitive lane departure warning causes me to have expend extra effort to steer to stay in lane.

Gold Accord EX V6 - 2006 Honda Accord
By Mark - January 6 - 1:53 pmI have owned this vehicle for about 6 months now and currently have 7200 miles on it. No problems whatsover to date. Previously owned a 2000 Honda Accord LX with V6. Performance has greatly increased going from a 200 Horsepower V6 to 244 Horsepower. Transmission shifts seamlessly and throttle response is almost immediate. This is a very decked out ride for the money. Build quality is good but nothing spectacular. The car comes standard with many features but does not have option for blue tooth. Gas mileage is good for a V6 with this many horses under the hood (Avg. 22 city 29 Hwy). I am happy with this vehicle and would probably buy again. Might take a look at the new 2007 Camry.

I Love It - 2005 Honda Accord
By Stephen L. Smith - January 4 - 8:13 amThis is the greatest car. I had never owned a Honda before, and feel like I now have one of the best cars in its class. My gas mileage is much higher than estimated, and the 4 cylinder has all the power I need, with smooth gear changing, great comfort. I have seen reviews complaining of road noise, but I dont notice it. In fact, my car seems amazingly quiet on the road. I listen to CDs with ease, unhinderred by supposed road noise. In addition, I am not nearly as tired after a trip. I feel this is truly a quality car and I am pleased to own a Honda Accord.

Questionable Dealership - 2000 Honda Accord
By aaspeer - January 3 - 2:00 amI purchased this car from Penske Honda in Southern California. I loved the car from day one but have had creaking & ratteling problems. THe transmission shifts oddly & the paint on the hood chipped off to reveal rust!! Its not so much the car that i have a problem with, the dealership SUCKS at servicing customers. They dont return phone calls or actually fix any problems. I have been in over 20 times with the same problems and they act as if they dont care. The speedometer is off by 6% which is apparently acceptable up to 10% but the car rides nice and i am overall happy with the car, but not the dealership.

Sporty - 2003 Honda Accord
By SportyG - January 3 - 2:00 amExcellent car. Besides being little bumpy on the ride and little flaw in the exterior look, its the BEST in its class.

03 Accord Coupe - 2003 Honda Accord
By stromile - January 3 - 2:00 amThis car is typical Honda, very reliable, good gas mileage, and build quality that exceeds the sticker price. So far my only gripe is the road noise of the tires over less than perfect interstate surfaces. Im not sure if this is the fault of the tires or because there is not enough sound deadening material in the car. Either way its Hondas issue because they chose the tires for the car. Overall this is a minor gripe because all other aspects of the car are top notch.

Civic DX to Accord EX - 2003 Honda Accord
By araiza565 - January 3 - 2:00 amIt had been a couple of years since I grew out of my Civic DX. Going from all the street racing type mods to an actual family type car was long over due for me. I had the option of going with a white with tan leather and wood trim (Luxury look) or Silver with black leather and aluminum trim (Sport Look). Needless to say, the silver one is sitting in my driveway.

Honda Accord - 2006 Honda Accord
By Rick B - December 28 - 11:56 amI own a 1990 Honda Accord (thats 16 years) and have 180,000+ miles on it, also purchased at Manchester. Upgrading to a 2006 was the best decision I could have made. The exterior and interior are great, the safety features (including the steel beams in the doors and the all around air bags) were all I needed to make my decision. I traded in a Olds Intrigue which was the last American car I will own.
