Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Love my new 2013 Sport - 2013 Honda Accord
By penonfire - January 28 - 3:02 amThese reviews were so helpful to me in choosing my Sport. I love it. Black int., black ext., dark tinted windows. Love the lumbar support on the drivers seat, and pretty much love everything about the car. Only a few things I miss from my last car--locked glove, tiny compartment for change--but these are teensy gripes. Honda really has outdone themselves with this new 2013 design. Its gorgeous. Holds the road, too, in a confident way. Almost bought the Coupe but getting into the back seat was a pain. My 18 year old son loves it and said hed be just fine with it if I decided to give it to him. Wanted to love the Prius but just didnt (and I dont commute). Love my Sport!

Stay away from Honda of Princeton!!!!!!! - 2002 Honda Accord
By Bruciep07 - January 27 - 10:00 amOverall, this is a very good car. Its come with its share of problems, though. #1-Bought the car spring time. I didnt use the AC for any extended period of time until mid summer. The first time I really got to use it, about an hour into the trip, i notice that my foot was wet, and that the AC drain hose was pinched in the AC box, and had totally flooded my car via the heater vents. The dealership fixed the drain problem, but did nothing about my rotting, falling apart carpet! #2-Trans was grinding in fifth gear at 300 miles, dealer told me to "let it break in". Went back next week, no more 5th gear, and almost no reverse. 2 1/2 weeks later, and a new trans.

Finest Car I have ever owned - 2005 Honda Accord
By turbo1701 - January 26 - 3:06 pmInterior is top notch, everything easy to reach and operate. Leather heated seats are terrific. Moonroof is great and have had no problems in the 2 months I have owned it. Contrary to what many people report about EPA rating, I am averaging 35 MPG on the highway, 27 in the city. Very impressed. Sound system is also excellent. Very roomy. Superior handling characteristics. Love styling of rear end 03-05 models. The 06 rear end looks like everything else on the road from a Ford 500 to Impala/G6/Lacrosse and Camry. Would highly recommend an Accord to anyone. Fit and finish are flawless on mine. Car is Black with Tan interior & spoiler. Gets LOTS of Looks & thumbs up.

Disappointed from Day One - 2009 Honda Accord
By jradams1976 - January 24 - 4:20 pmUnfortunately, my first Honda will be my last. The right front brakes have squeaked since day one. The rear brakes have experienced premature wear and will soon need replacing. Driver side leather seat is very uncomfortable after 10-15 minutes of driving. Gas mileage is worse than advertised (I average 23 mpg). Honda America has no resolution to date for any of these problems. Additionally, my passenger side door was dinged a month ago and paint has already begun to chip. All in all, I deeply regret having bought this car and am continually disappointed with Honda Americas problem-solving capabilities or lack thereof.

Drive and Drive and Drive - 2002 Honda Accord
By Pro driver - January 22 - 2:00 amI would say the comfort level of the vehicle is good. It is more for the non sport enthusiast. I drive for a living with at least a 2 hour commute. I have 83,000 miles on my 2002 Accord and have had my first repair of a wheel bearing just this week. I opted for the 100,000 mile bumper to bumper but I really didnt need it. I am a very big guy and it is sometimes a little tight as I spend 4 hrs at a time on the car most days. Also I can say this car is a fantastic value for the money. At this point I am just about breaking even on my value vs. financing value as I am considering upgrading to an Acura TL.
