Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Glad We Upgraded - 2006 Honda Accord

I average about 20,000 miles driving to and from work so we were looking for a reliable car. My past experience with vehicles hasnt been very good-lots of mechanical failures, expensive repairs. We did the research and were very impressed with the Honda Accord and sold after the test drive. Very smooth ride, lots of great features, and Honda has a great track record with their products. Cant go wrong investing with Honda!

  • Lets be fair - 2008 Honda Accord

Lets be fair, how many cars out there with the price around 21K to 24K and gives you what Accord LX offers? I drive 100 miles everyday since Nov 07 and I absolutly love this car. Its fun to drive, handling is great. The moonroof is cool to have, it gives you good ventilation in the cold days when the heat is turn-up, and of course the exterior look is a killer.

  • Dont Buy American,Honda that is. - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

This car has been a huge disappointment. I think that the quality is VERY poor compared to my 1991 accord. Already the road noise in this 2004 is louder than my 15 year old car. With only 8000 miles on it, Honda has had to replace the cylinder head. The mileage is worse than my 1991 vehicle which had the same number of cylinders and less plastic than the 2004. Does not say much for the engineering. Honda engines made in America do not seem reliable at all. Next for them to fix is the heater and A/C. Oh well, live and learn.

  • Nasty tires at 25000 miles. - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

Purchased new March 2016, at 25000 miles tires are way out of line for road noise, dealer claims it may need alignment, when I get the paper from Alignment specialist that it is not out of alignment that would cause the tires to act this way I will be back to dealer.

  • Such an Unremarkable car! - 1999 Honda Accord
    By -

Im tired of this thing after only 1 year. I still dont see what all the fuss is about. This car is terrible in cold weather and rain. The engine makes a beautiful sound, but that is about all you can expect from it. The 2.3L probably would scream in a Civic, but is not quite enough for the heavy Accord. The interior just screams cheap. The steering is a loose and shaky, as are the brakes. After a year, I already want to get rid of it. What a boring car.

  • Get over the badge and buy the car. - 2003 Honda Accord

I couldnt be happier with my 03 EX V6 - it has more power than I can legally used, and runs like a top. Coming from a mid-1990s BMW 3 Series is like coming from the stone age to the present. This car is very, very good at everything you need a sedan to be. If it had a luxury badge, it would cost you $10,000 more for a car with fewer features. I chose between EX V6 and BMW 325, and decided I was paying too much for a luxury badge (plus I was a little tired of paying BMW service and parts prices for the past 7 years), for less reliability. A completely enjoyable experience - just get used to seeing your car everywhere! Happy hunting.

  • Hands Down-Great Buy-2003 Accord EX V6 - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

This car is fantastic. I have driven about 2500 miles on this car in the first month. I spent three months and looked at the competitors, Passat, Saab, Volvo, Camry, etc. The 2003 Accord is the best deal for the money. The only way that you could find a car with better features or performance and proven reliability is to spend more. But why? The american cars just dont compare.

This is the best car I have ever had the pleasure of driving. You get great performance (255 HP) with luxury and outstanding gas mileage. The quality of the car is amazing. Everything about the car feels awesome. I feel like Im driving a Porsche. The reliability of Honda puts my mind at ease. I highly recommend this car. Having my cell phone charging in my center armrest while out of view is very cool.
