Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Packed Full of Value - 2004 Honda Accord
By Acecert - March 12 - 2:00 amPast 3 years, Each year I have purchased new cars: Jaguar S-Type, Lexus LS430 and Lexus SC-430. You pay dearly for high-end cars. I decided try out the 2004 Accord EX V6. The only things I am "giving up" from all my previous cars are memory seat, auto lights,(theres an off feature)and fog lights. I purchased the rear-view mirror w/ the sensor as an accessory. The car is quieter than my Lexus SC430 and rides smoother. I was getting 17 mpg and now have improved my mileage drastically. The interior is well designed for convenience and comfort. I plan to hang on to this car and if I do, what a testimony it will be for Honda.

Very Good Overall Value - 2006 Honda Accord
By JFC - March 12 - 1:50 amPreviously owned a 2003 Accord EXL V6, but switched to the 4 cyl. for nimbler handling/steering feel/fuel economy. Seriously considered the 2007 Camry XLE 4 cyl. & 2006 Hyundai Sonata V6 Limited, but the Accord won out for overall performance & styling, though the Sonata offered more car for the money and, in some areas, is superior to the Accord/Camry. The Accords appeal is in doing so many things well, without any serious flaws. The reliability & resale are added bonuses.

Bloated and Oversized - 2007 Honda Accord
By Stuart Florida - March 11 - 5:00 amThis is my 4th Accord, my first was a 1983 model. This is definitely not the nimble Accord that I remember. The Accord has grown to from a compact to a midsize. The Accord suffers from the "bigger is better" American car syndrome. Older Accords were definitely economy cars, not bloated family sedans. The 07 model suffers from some surprising (for Honda) design flaws. The rear doors are oddly designed, forcing you to move far away when opening the door. The trunk is large but difficult to access, with a small opening. And no outside temperature gauge or fuel economy monitor, standard on most VWs. If youre looking for a fuel- saving efficient small car, the Accords not for you.

Great choice - 2006 Honda Accord
By pdk - March 9 - 6:36 amIt had been 10 years since I had owned a car similar in size to this Accord. The ride is extremely comfortable and it is fun to drive. There is little to no wind noise however there is some unexpected road noise. This is a great all around car for any age buyer

Bought used; tranny went bad - 2003 Honda Accord
By Christopher Chapple - March 8 - 10:50 pmI bought this car in Nov of 2004 with about 42K miles. I come to find out that I am the third owner! At approx 60K miles, the transmission went bad and it will require $3200 in repairs. Thank God I bought an extended warranty. Another complaint I have is headroom-- there is none. Im constantly banging my head against the ceiling when I check my mirrors to go in reverse (and Im only 5-9). The stereo is pretty cool but it had to be replaced by Honda (they did it for free) because the whole display went black one day. So far, this car has been high maintainence but it is a fun ride. Im hoping I wont continue to have problems with it. My 95 Accord lasted 185K miles.

Top car for your dollar - 2004 Honda Accord
By araiza565 - March 7 - 2:00 amI did all my research using Edmunds. After two months of research I narrowed it down to the Honda Accord V6 with Navigation. I have had friends that own BMWs, Lincolns, Nissan and even Mercedes ride in and drive the Accord. All of them where impressed with the drive quality and what I was able to purchase at 25.5K. I do feel I have made a sound purchase and impressed at the low depreciation rate the car has had over the first year (Approximate 3.5K with 13,500 miles). The new Acura TL is the only car that has been catching my eye lately, none the less I hope to hand this Accord over to my son, who should get his license in four years.....

2009 Accord Coupe EX-L V-6 with NAVI - 2009 Honda Accord
By lebo5 - March 7 - 1:13 amIve been a Honda owner for 8 years and my wife and I have had 6 during that time. Theyve all been extremely reliable and safe cars but theyve also been like vanilla ice cream when it comes to looking at them. Theyve all had the features weve wanted and most of them have been loaded. But until this new design, none of them have been very exciting. This car is gorgeous!! And it stands out getting looks everywhere I go. I opted for the coupe because I didnt like the look of the sedan, especially in the rear. The coupe however changes all of that! I went with every bell & whistle available and no regrets.

Good to go!! - 2002 Honda Accord
By Marineone - March 5 - 10:00 amThis Honda Accord is a great over all purchase. The interior I have is aftermarket leather, in which is higher quality than the manufacturers option. Gas mileage is great. I can drive from L.A. to Vegas and back on one full tank of gas and still have some left for the work week!! This Honda is good quality and craftmanship in comparison to some other cars in the same price range.
