Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

For the middle of the road for features, the SE brings a lot to the table for a reasonable cost. The ride is a little stiffer than other models, but the sport 17in 50series tires take some of the blame, but pay back dividends in cornering.

  • Great car - 2003 Honda Accord

After driving an SUV, we werent sure if we wanted a car. We know now. Its great! No, the exterior styling isnt as impressive as the G35 or the Altima, but the interior is top notch, and after all, you ride inside the car, not outside. We went with the silver with black leather. The brushed aluminum trim inside is so much nicer than fake wood. Im 62", and theres plenty of room for me to sit in the back seat. Much more headroom than the Altima and G35. The V-6 has plenty of pick up, and the ride is great. We paid 25,200 through the fleet department. The G35 equally equipped is over 40,000 and the Altima is over 32,000.

  • GREAT car - 2001 Honda Accord

One of the most comfortable and quietest cars Ive ever driven. Not necessarily a lot of "fun" (compared to something like a 350Z, or at higher ends, a Porche) but extremely enjoyable.

  • Pleasantly surprised w/ performance - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

I purchased a white accord sport because I absolutely love the color. I was on the fence on whether to get a 4cyl. vs. 6cyl accord. I almost purchased V6 coupe but felt it wasnt practical for a family. I have owned 04 and 07 V6 accords and was satisfied overall with the quality and performance of them. The quality, appearance and handling of the 2013 sport is far superior to them all. The power isnt quite as pronounced as the V6 but still pulls well. The CVT transmission is the smoothest and quickest one that I have driven out of all competitor 4 cyl. sedans. Fuel mileage has been exceptional (over 30 mpg) and the factory stereo is excellent with controls that are simple to use.

  • Eye catching - 2018 Honda Accord

Buying a great designed reliable car.

  • Dual Screen Nightmare! - 2017 Honda Accord
    By -

Test Drove all models of the 17 Accord including Hybrid, EXL and Touring and very much liked this car, and was oh so close to pulling the trigger on it, however, decided against it for one specific reason.... The absolutely absurd and pointless Dual Screens! Honda, why, why, why??? You would have been better off with a large 8"+ (think along design lines of Tesla) high-res, easy to see, operate, fast display (yes and with a physical volume knob too!) instead of the current cluster-fu*&ery of dual screen mashup youre offering. People today want clean lines, easy to view/read/operate technology in their vehicles, and certainly from a safety perspective while trying to reduce distractions (having to look at 2 screens is unnecessary and dangerous, and I already know someone who just got into an accident because of being distracted by 2 screens) does this matter. Honda, until then, Ill take my business to other brands.

  • Fun, wonderful car to live with - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Have this one since Nov-2007. Went to LA three times, able to drive 95 mph on tight corner for speed limit 55mph. Wish to upgrade to 19" wheels. Gas mileage is disappointed, avg 20 mpg so far. Noise level is too high for $30K car. Honda engineers must solve this problem ASAP. Get rid of cylinder deactivation on coupe, it actually slows down when try to accelerate. Driving and handling are top of the class (Altima is very close competitor). No live traffic on its navi (Altima has that feature, but resale value is horrible for Nissan products). Fit and Finish are excellent

  • Nice car, bad breaks - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Had to replace my rear breaks at 22k miles. According to Honda it is normal. I get about 24 MPG and 7500-9000 miles per oil change. Tires are in great condition after 34k miles on them, should last another 30-35k.

  • Great Car - 2007 Honda Accord

Traded in my 2001 Honda Civic EX for the 2007 Accord. The Accord styling may be a little bland/vanilla, but the reliability and resale value makes up for it. Have driven the car for about 9K miles...no problems. Comfortable drive. Trunk seems small considering the size of the car.

  • Design flaw in the doors - 2015 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my third Accord. I cant say enough good about my 1997 and my 2007. I like my 2015 well enough, but I feel like some quality was sacrificed, maybe in exchange for the upgraded technology. Most notably, there is a design flaw in the doors. Whether I run my car thru the car wash, or use the do-it-yourself spray wand, soap and water collects under the bottom seal. After every wash, I have to open all the doors and wipe residual soap and water from the door jams and seals. Its like Honda wants the car to rust. My prior Accords paint held up really well. My new cars finish is already looking cloudy on the doors and fenders.
