Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Overall happy...except for road noise - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

I did a TON of research before making a decision - owned a little over 2mos now. Leased the 2016 Honda Accord Sedan LX (didnt care about the extra bells and whistles). Traded in my 2007 Toyota Sienna Van w/90k miles, no addl money down, pymt is $205 39mos. Kona Coffee Metallic (pretty dark) w/black interior (had white vehicle for last 15yrs). A little adjusting since Im used to sitting up higher. Seats are comfortable, although front passenger seat sits a little low and consequently a little more effort to get out. I have 3 grandkids (5, 8, & 11) that live locally and back seat has ample room/room to grow. Trunk is pretty darn spacious and came with trunk mat standard which I think is great. Purchased (not from dealer) all weather floor mats that cover hump in back to help with dust/rock collection (I live in Az). Handles very well. Disengaging "Eco" makes it pretty zippy when needing to accelerate (merging/uphill). Taken 700mile road trip and comfortable in seats entire time, avg 37mph highway cruising @ 75. Road noise is more than I expected, although because I live in NW Az (3500 elev) when the asphalt is not tight/new this greatly affects the noise (acceptably quiet if road is good). Also believe the Continental tires are part of the problem, but does not really make sense to spend $500+ to replace them at this point. Overall happy with purchase, but sometimes the road noise gets to me. When you test drive I would suggest driving on different road types (good/smooth & bad/rough), LEAVING RADIO OFF so you can hear road/tire noises and get the full experience based on various road conditions.

  • Love my Accord! - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

After driving a 99 Olds Alero for 9 years and having something break on a monthly basis, owning this car is a dream! I absolutely love it! I also looked at Camry and the new Acura TSX, but the Accord is a class above Camry in my opinion and why pay $5000 more for the TSX when it is virtually identical to the Accord? The exterior and interior is more reflective of European styling and it looks amazing. I generally keep my vehicles 8-10 years and look forward to owning this one that long.

  • 6 spd Accord Coupe - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Ive owned several Accords and this one has more power and refinement, and is the largest version Ive owned. Lots of power with the 6 spd, and the car has a great balance of style, performance, and (so far) reliability. Highly recommend the V6 coupe with the manual transmission.

  • EX V6 Coupe - 2003 Honda Accord

The new Honda Accord sedan seems a bit stodgy. However the coupe combines great looks, panache, good handling, excellent power with the traditional Honda virtues. Its a car to aspire to, not one to settle for.

  • Pleased - 2003 Honda Accord

My first foreign-made car. I decided to bite the bullet and go for reliability. I have been very pleased with my purchase so far.

  • Nothing but a Honda for me - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

Traded in our 03 CRV for a new Accord, didnt really need AWD anymore, and wanted better gas mileage. Tried the Camry XLE first, nice ride, but lacked a few features i wanted, like dual zone A/C, and didnt like the wood trim. Accords interior is top notch, nice design, clear gauges, comfy seats, lots of storage space.

  • 2005 EX V6 4dr Accord - 2005 Honda Accord
    By -

Our Accord has been a pleasure to drive. The powerful V-6 lessens the stress of driving because it adds confidence. Changing lanes in commuter traffic is now much easier. Entering busy highways seems safer as well. The cabin is quiet and the ride is fairly smooth. We didnt ask for the XM radio system but our car already had it. Its a big plus. Our 4 door vehicle is white and looks clean even when it isnt. We have mud flaps, a wing spoiler and a moon roof air deflector. All three add nicely to the "look." The car stands out nicely when parked next to other lessor optioned Hondas. Visibility for backing up lacking. The car is also longer than we thought. We are very happy with the car.

I traded a 04 Mustang for the 05 Accord. I think this 2.4 5-speed has as much power as the Mustang. Its easier for my family to get in and out of, especially my husband. So far, Ive gotten 28 mpg compared to 21 mpg. I think this one is most certainly a keeper.

  • Buy this great car as used to save $ - 2005 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought this car as used car with only 4500 miles, this car has navigation system and xm radio. I paid $24,500 and spent another $200 to get the spare wheel and tool box of 2006 hybrid, yes of 2006, the special tire I bought at tire shop in much better price. Honda made a stupid mistake with 2005 hybrid on the spare wheel and corrected it on the 2006, however this is the most fun car I ever had, I know that milage is not even close to Toyota Prius but better than all my previous V6 cars, I am a tall guy 6Â’1, however the driver seat is very comfortable

  • Good car but instrumentation is outdated. - 2017 Honda Accord
    By -

So far the car has performed well but the instrumentation interface needs a complete redesign. It also needs additional sensors to monitor surrounding vehicular traffic. The user manual that comes with the car is poorly written and the tech people at the dealership are not trained to answer even the simplest of questions.
