Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Best car Ive owned - 2008 Honda Accord
By Jason - April 16 - 2:46 amWell I thought I might try and inform future buyers of this car so that they can better understand what to expect from it. The only bad things about this car I can say is the exterior paint is very easily swirled and scratched and the "entertainment" of the car is very bland. Its a plain Jane car. However you very soon realize just how well built this car is and how reliable a Honda can be. Ive put very little money into this car and when I do its very cheap. I bought it with 83000 miles and we just hit 120000 and it runs as strong as a new accord. I plan to drive this car to the ground and I think it might stop running when it hits 500000 miles. Bottom line you cant go wrong with this car, everything is average or above average and certainly cost of ownership is the best in the biz.

My first Honda (Accord) - 2016 Honda Accord
By Barry Rider - April 15 - 8:47 pmThis is my first Honda car. Ive owned Honda motorcycles. I wanted a car that would be dependable and the Accord has a great reputation in that regard. I purchased a 2016 at the end of the model year and got aprox. $4500 off the MSRP. I purchased the LX with CVT, which is the most basic of the Accords. I dont believe in buying a $20,000 car and adding a lot of gadgets to make it a $30,000 car. With only 1000 miles on the dash, the car runs great. having only driven cars with a traditional automatic, the CVT trans. seems a little odd but Im getting use to it. It has a smooth and quiet ride. With the 4 cyl its not a race car, but the 6cyl only improved the 0 to 60 mph by about 1.5 seconds so I could not justify spending about $8000 more for the model with the V6. Being the basic model it lacks the electronic seat adjustments which I miss a little. I am coming from a 2013 VW Jetta TDI. The Accord ride is softer and the steering is not as firm as the VW. I dont have enough miles to comment on the MPG. Over all a good value for the money.

6th Honda - 2007 Honda Accord
By Mike - April 15 - 3:53 amI have had my Accord for three weeks. The SE was an easy choice over the LX for the added features at a slight cost adjustment. Ride is classic Honda: tight and stable, and the quality is super. The four cylinder is more than adequate and gets very similar mileage that my 2005 Civic had. The five speed automatic is very smooth and reads speed and geography superbly. I changed from the Civic to the Accord for safety. The Accord offers a great list of standard safety features. I wish that a customer didnÂ’t have to go to a six cylinder to get Vehicle Stability Control; it should be standard in this day and age. The Brake Assist has a little too much exuberance.

An excellent vechicle - 2003 Honda Accord
By mikem - April 14 - 3:36 amThis is our first new Honda after having a used one for several years. Only problem was with radio going out causing all dash lights to be dark. Replaced under extended warranty, but have since seen this has been a probem for them. I love the radio controls on the steering wheel and the sound of the 6 cd changer. The performance of the 4- cylinder engine is remarkable, and well over 35 mpg on the highway even in the mountians. Everyone who rides in is surprised with the room in the back seat. Overall we love this car and expect to keep it for some time to come.

Great Car - 2004 Honda Accord
By mdbrown - April 13 - 10:00 amIf I would have known how nice this car is, I would have bought it long ago. Thought about the Altima and Passat, but the Accord is the clear winner. The 2.4 has plenty of acceleration. The transmission, brakes and steering are tight and responsive.

Accord EX Fantastic - 2016 Honda Accord
By David - April 12 - 4:19 amI searched for 5 months before buying the Accord EX and I am so happy I ended up with the Accord EX. Everything about this car is great so far however I was expecting a little bit more out of the miles per gallon. Its not what I thought it would be but over all I would rate this car a 9 out of 10. Courtesy Palm Harbor was a fantastic place to buy from, they dont hound you or lay a line of B.S. on you. I made them an offer which no other dealer would even consider and they accepted it. I strongly suggest making the extra trip to Palm Harbor if you are interested in a Honda because they will treat you right. Just make them an offer but make sure it is reasonable and they will tell you yes or no. Thats the way car buying should be without the B.S. coming into play. This was a stress free deal that I made with Palm Harbor Honda. Buying from anywhere else is going to be a nightmare at best. Trust me, I know because I contacted over 2 dozen Honda dealerships throughout Florida over the 5 months I was shopping. Most dealerships would rather rob you first and sell you a car second. Just my opinion.

My First Accord - 2008 Honda Accord
By Geoff - April 11 - 7:46 pmThis is my first Accord. I chose it over the Civic. I prefer a car with 4 wheel disc brakes and after dressing up the Civic the price was very close to the Accord LX. I am 64" in height and I fit better in the Accord. The car drives well. Highway I am getting 35 mpg. City mileage is at 25 mpg. The paint is good quality. I always hand wax a new car the day I get it to look for flaws or scratches and found the finish to be fine. It drives very well and has a solid feel on the road at freeway speeds. I wanted an inexpensive car with good mileage, and strong resale. This car meets my expectations.

Great car! - 2005 Honda Accord
By scats1107 - April 11 - 6:36 pmExtremely happy with my purchase. There are small differences of what I expected as standard in a US model that do not appear in the Honda. The car has spirited performance and handling. The ride has a sport feel to it and I enjoy driving it on winding roads. Comfortable enough for my family of 4.

The Accord isnt a Buick - 2010 Honda Accord
By IMFletch - April 11 - 2:50 amSome of these reviews are amusing. Did anyone actually test drive the Accord before buying it? This Accord is what it has always been - the sports sedan of work-a-day cars. This means it has a firm ride, quick, accurate steering, lots of road feel, a rev-happy engine and a slick shifting manual trans. Complaints about road noise, hard ride? Please. Listen, if you want a four-wheeled isolation chamber, buy a Buick. The Accord has grown up, but it still retains the qualities that have made its predecessors so beloved: a great DRIVING experience, quality, reliability and economy. My LX 5 spd is simple and fun to drive. The Accord is perfect if thats what youre looking for in a car.

Almost returned this lease, but.... - 2014 Honda Accord
By Eb - April 9 - 2:37 pmI leased this vehicle after my 12 Accord was in a severe accident. Totally different cars, but either are good vehicles in their own rights. I will say the sport is nice to look at but scary to drive in the snow. That being said it hits all the points with ease. Nice car to drive, nice size inside and out. Easy to own. I went to get out of it because I wanted an AWD CR-V, I was priced out, but I realized that this car is a no brainier.
