Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Everything I expected - 2008 Honda Accord
By Econ1 - May 4 - 5:53 pmAfter 12 years of a BMW 3-series convertible, I looked for something with the same excellent driving characteristics and handling. I do not drive 10/10ths, but enjoy responsive handling and a decent compromise between comfort and firmness. This is it. 3-series BMWs have very little, if anything, to offer for someone like me over this car. It has great cornering, excellent acceleration, and a great interior. I personally love the exterior styling - YMMV. I expected to miss the touch screen navi that weve had for 4 years on our Acuras, but Im even happier with the new model -- seems to do a much better job of speech recognition than our 2006 MDX. I couldnt be happier with it.

Comfortable and Good Looking! - 2017 Honda Accord
By Sigfredo Diaz - May 3 - 2:08 pmThe value for what you get is great. Good looking vehicle and comfortable. Its a smooth ride. Not an engine to rev, but you would have chosen a different vehicle if that was important. Sport SE is limited in tech, but has some basics, such as bluetooth and backup camera. Pandora compatibility is great. The interior look and feel, gives you a more luxury feel, even if its not. It has a smooth ride. Based on the value, if youre not looking for the latest tech and want a comfortable sedan that has good gas mileage, is roomy, has a reputation of reliability, and looks good, this is the way to go.

I love it - 2005 Honda Accord
By stevet - May 3 - 7:36 amAfter years of owing Hondas I strayed to American cars because of their lower price and promise of good performance. Boy what a dissapointment. Came back with a EX V6 6sp coupe with full aero ground affects kit. Its a much better looking car with the Aero kit. The car is responsive and fun to drive, it loves to go to red line with a smooth pur, never sounding strainend and yet it is frugle on gas when not driven hard. This is a car I will keep for a very long time. Best car I have ever owned.

Great family sedan - 2007 Honda Accord
By rick - May 1 - 7:46 amI had the car for about a year now, it is great! It gets the stated or higher mileage, and the manual transmission is a joy to go through. Heated leather seats are great for those cool days, the XM I can live without, but its ok. No rattles, tight steering, it is a sport sedan for sure!!

2007 Honda Accord - 2007 Honda Accord
By 2007 exl honda accor - April 30 - 7:16 pmThis is the third Honda Accord that I have owned. Great cars lots of nice features for the money. My wife puts on 25000 miles a year. My first car was a 1979, 2004, 2007. Our 2004 had 77000 miles on it when we bought the 2007. Oil changes tire rotation and some time keeping the car clean so when we drove it we could enjoy it. In a nutshell, these are great cars.

Almost There - 2007 Honda Accord
By anon - April 28 - 8:10 amA solid car but one that has real but not fatal flaws. Build quality is very high but it does however have some quirks: the engine shut-off feature is too aggressive, especially in common stop-and-go traffic. The battery recharge process that occurs during braking causes a shudder towards the end of slowing to a stop (<10mph to 0 mph) almost like the car is trying to stall (which it doesnt). The steering is smooth and especially easy at slow speeds. Aggressive acceleration is fairly jerky as the motor assist comes and goes as the car shifts gears. Good news - most of this stuff is probably just software fixes. Bad news - Honda let this car out of the lab before it was totally baked.

99% - 2005 Honda Accord
By FlowerMan - April 27 - 3:43 pmQuality car you wont regret buying. Fun to drive, quiet, comfortable (although not quite as comfortable as a full-size luxury car), great gas mileage, really nice sound system.
