Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Bought a new accord sport 2 weeks ago. Very nice car,Dealer really started nogh.price when i told them i was buying that day,but was going to a different dealer in another town. Got mine for 22,200 sticker was around 25,000 +i got mud guards, wheel locks, and trunk mat. that they think r worth 600.00. for what i can afford i really like the car. First time i drove it i thought the tach. was broken it hardley moves with the CVT trans.on a nornal take off. Great miles p.g. first day drove 300 miles @80 mph and got 37 mpg with only 20 miles on it when i started. Getting 26 aro und town. Dealer says its fast, but i havn,t seen that yet, but haventried keeping RPMS up till its broken in.

I love driving this car. It is stylish, quick and a great ride. I do not understand why there is not more positive noise about this car.

  • Great Car!! - 2008 Honda Accord

This is a smooth car. I previously owned a 98 Avalon, and found the seats more comfortable than the Honda. The seats in the Honda are more firm. I found the Accord to handle better than the Camry. I test drove them back to back. I commute 25 miles to work, 90% highway, and average 24 to 27mpg depending how I drive. I recently drove 300 miles one way with my wife and 2 kids. The trunk was packed full of luggage. The cruise was set at 70 mph and got 31.3 mpg. I did not do as well on the way back because of Wisconsin cold weather and wind, but averaged 28 mpg over 600 miles including 50 miles driving around Milwaukee. The VCM works best with no hills, and I find it to be nearly seamless.

Does everything well. Sharp looking car at a reasonable price. Getting over 27 mpg in mostly highway use. Steering nice and tight, seats a little stiff but comfortable. Interior is very roomy, and I can sit comfortably in the rear seat at 62". Good trunk space, nice finish and materials in both the interior and exterior. Smooth ride, Have not noticed any excessive road noise on the highway as described by other buyers. Plenty of acceleration in the 190 hp version. Typical Honda, does many things well.

I have had my 2008 Accord EX-V6 for about 1 month. I have put about 1400 miles on it so far and I absolutely love it. It is my first Honda automobile and I dont think it will be my last unless this one lasts forever. It is getting better than 25 mpg combined highway/city driving. The styling inside and out is beautiful. The power of this V6 is incredible. I am 6-2" and I have plenty of leg & head room in the front & rear. To have this kind of power/fuel mileage/styling & comfort is unbelievable. I know the reliability will good because that is the reputation that Honda has always had. As far as I am concerned, Honda has hit a homerun with the new 2008 Accord.

  • No Regrets For Me!! - 2004 Honda Accord

As a long time Toyota Camry owner, it was difficult to switch brands. Im not disappointed! I purchased a 2004 EX-V6 with a rear wing spoiler for $700 under invoice. The engine is quiet, powerful, and easy on gas. 25 mpg in mixed driving. Very impressive! I got the same gas mileage on my 96 Camry, 4 cylinder, and only half the horsepower (120 hp vs. 240hp). Smooth shifting transmission, intelligent control layout, precise handling, and quiet cabin. Standard safety features: ABS brakes, dual front air bags, side curtain air bags, and security system. A comparably equipped Camry would have cost me thousands more.
