Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Awesome Car - 1998 Honda Accord

I love my Honda. This is the most awesome car I have ever owned. We also have a 4door Camry of the same year which rivals the Honda in comfort but the Honda outweighs it in engine torque, body style and it is so fun to drive. The V6 really gets up and goes at the slightest touch. I dont have anything negative to say about this car. You cant go wrong with this one.

  • Exceeded Expecations - 2006 Honda Accord

A veritable wolf in sheeps clothing: I actually find myself making excuses to drive more. Great driving dynamics: comfortable seats, silky Acura powertrain (including wheels from 04 TL/CL Type S), and exceptional visibility. I cant believe Honda built this version of the Accord - but I sure am glad they did.

  • Best car Ive ever owned - 2005 Honda Accord

The #1 rated family sedan by Car and Driver lives up to its reputation. I chose this over a toyota Corolla and Camry; fortunately for me I did. The standard safety features of 8 airbags and ABS helps drive insurance costs down while protecting you and your passengers. It averages 30+ mpg on the highway, even when going faster than 75. Performance is great, as it has more than enough power to get up and go when you need it. The styling of the 2005 is a step up from the 03-04 models (all red tail lights now) although I still prefer the coupe model (but insurance costs more). For a car under $20k this is the absolute best choice.

  • Make Room! - 2008 Honda Accord

Pros: extremely comfortable, more power than camry, lots of space, good fuel economy, and mean looking Cons: i would get the V-6 model, but it has VCM which causes engine problems This car is the bomb! The dashboard is designed like Acura. It has all the features you can get on a Lexus, BMW, or a Mercedes-Benz. The Accord handles way better than a BMW . Available XM radio too!. The speakers are very good and the seven inch subwoofer is great. Theres no point of getting a 7-series or an S-class or an LS. Accord has it all! I sold my 2007 Camry for the Accord. I paid more for the accord, but its worth it.

  • This is a great car - 2008 Honda Accord

The re-designed exterior is great- looking. I see older Accords on the road and they look boxy and nondescript. The 08 is a beauty, especially in the deep burgundy. The interior is fantastic. Big and spacious, with a ton of high-end features (on the model I got) like Navigation, heated seats, XM, dual climate control (automatic too), auto- dimming rear view mirror, 6-CD stereo, nice leather, etc. Riding in this car feels very similar to riding in cars that cost $15k more. The ride is great too. I dont know why some folks bemoan the VCM shifting between 6, 4, and 3 cylinders. I dont notice a thing. It is very smooth and seamless. I really like this car a lot.

  • 1999 Honda Accord - 1999 Honda Accord

I have not had any problems out of my Honda Accord since I bought it 3 years ago. I have had to replace the breaks almost every year and have already replaced the rotors and I am not hard on breaks.???

  • 11 Years Later...Good as New! - 2005 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought my 2005 Honda Accord EX-L brand new in 2005. 11 years later she is still going strong with 180,000 miles! I have replaced only the brakes, battery, and tires over the life of this car. The car has a great ride and my mechanic says I can take it another 180,000. This is just simply a fantastic car!

  • Really Nice Car!! - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

Ok Im a Honda and fan and Ive owned several Accords over the years. This 2016 Accord Touring is the best most sophisticated Accord yet! I really love everything about the car EXCEPT the interior room. Im 65 and this model has the least headroom I believe ever. Im tall but very lean and I feel tight and a bit cramped when I drive. My 2009 Accord V6 was way roomier and I sat far more comfortably. People complained that model was too big but I loved it. I still love this car and highly recommend it except for really tall people like me.

  • best value in family sedans - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

Finally after two months of reviewing (like a fanatic) every family sedan on the market, I bought the EX 6 cylinder Accord. Great value compared to Camry, Taurus and Mazda 6. Major complaint is that the suspension is very rigid and you feel every bump on the road. exceptional interior and exterior design compared to the mid sized mid priced competition.

  • Worth the money - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

This is going to be bias since it is my 11th Honda. Why not when the reliability is so good and resale near 50% after five years. The NAV system is awesome, very user friendly. This is my wifes car and she insisted on a standard so had to wait a couple months. Traded in a V-6 Accord. She let me take it today while she drove the Oydessy. Amazed at the power of a 4 cylinder and how smooth it is. The Acura TL would have been nice, but couldnt justify the cost. Bought the car from Bruce in fleet at Honda Cars of Mesa. Call act to deal with, couldnt say enough about him except...fifth Honda Ive bought from him.
