  I really didnt want to buy a new car; but my 95 Volvo had reached the point where the repairs it needed exceeded its book value. So... There was no major decision in my purchase; all of the research Id done came up with the same two answers: Honda or Toyota. I drove a Civic and was appalled. I drove an Accord and was astonished. It handled like a dream. The I-4 motor was powerful, smooth and quiet. The 5- speed gearbox was a joy. Looks, compared with the Camry...no contest. The dark grey metallic paint...Oooh baby! At highway speeds, it will go about 500 miles on a tank of gas. I bought two Accords that day. The 2009 Im driving now...and the 2019 Ill replace it with.

  Lovin it!! - 2008 Honda Accord

  I just purchased my Polished Metal EX- L yesterday. Honda did a really nice job with this Accord. Acceleration is very quick for a 4 cylinder. The steering feel and handling of the car is athletic. The interior is great. The seats are supportive and the materials are great. Exterior styling, in my opinion is very attractive. Reminds me of a cross between an Acura RL and a BMW 5 series. I showed the car to a friend of mine and he commented that it was almost like a luxury car inside. He owns a BMW.

  It just plain gets the job done - 2005 Honda Accord

  This is a safe, reliable and ergonomically superb automobile. The styling isa bit vague, certainly not as aggressive as Mazda6 or Altima, however this isnt a sports car, its a family sedan meant to transport a family in style and that is exactly what it does.

  My new (used) 2000 - 2000 Honda Accord

  Just picked up a 2000 EX V6 from a private party. It is great to drive. I love the interior. It is functional and good looking. The car currently has the original Michelin MXV4s. I will be replacing them with Bridgestone Turanza LS-Hs this week.

  Three problems with Honda Accord: 1) The car jitters when the driver wants to accelerate after slowing down for a turn or for a stop sign. It is very uncomfortable and it is dangerous, e.g., when one wants to make a left turn and the car does not accelerate smoothly and promptly. 2) Banging noise when one starts the engine. These two problems occur in every new Honda Accord of 1998-2001 years. Honda can do nothing about them. 3) The engine stalls due to ignition switch prematurely worn out. It is dangerous since if your engine stalls while driving in traffic, you are at risk of being hit. Honda has recalled its 1997-99 Accord for repairing this defect.

  Love My V6 - 2003 Honda Accord

  I have had the car for two months and love it. I had a 1997 Accord LX and enjoyed it but wanted more. If I could take the 1997 and change what I did not like it is the 2003. The V6 is awesome!

  2013 Accord is a Great Buy! - 2013 Honda Accord

  We bought a 2013 Accord about a month ago. After 1600 miles I have found that the gas mileage is phenomenal. I have averaged a high of 41 on the highway. In mixed driving I average 33. The power is as good as you would want. Who needs a 6 cylinder. The car rides firm but is very comfortable. It handles right sporty. I have owned many Hondas and this one is a great car.

  A lot of car for the money. Great safety systems including standard side curtain air bags. Huge Trunk. Timeless design.
