  1st Accord, definitely not my last - 1992 Honda Accord

  Ive been driving this one since it was brand new, and wouldnt have bought a new Accord EX last week if I were at all disappointed with my last 10 years of driving a Honda. Engine feels just as strong as when it was new, and its held its resale value well. Almost all maintenance was from normal wear (tires, brakes, battery). The automatic trans. needed a rebuild at 95K but it was expected with L.A. stop- and-go driving - probably the equivalent of 250K miles of "normal" driving. The only engine problem was a defective ignition component that Honda replaced free of charge long after the factory warranty expired.

  I like the car, but not crazy about the color choices and the lights, specially the rear lights, they are long and look like a sad/angry face!

  great car specially at the gas pump, averaging about 30 miles to a gallon, prett good for a V6. And the nav system is great also.

  Really great car to drive. I love the way it picks up speed smoothly. There are a few little rattles especially when its cold. Besides that its been a great car to me.

  DO NOT BUY THIS CAR!!! - 2009 Honda Accord

  I bought my 2009 Accord, and I HATE it. I have previously owned 2 civics and an Acura CL and this Accord is by far the lowest quality car of them all. After two months the paint on the front started chipping and Honda refuses to do anything about it. It has been the WORST customer service experience EVER. I am trading in the car after 6 months of ownership. Seats are uncomfortable and the car is expensive for the quality. Gas Mileage could be better. I get about 400 miles per tank, but that is 18 gallons of fuel. PLEASE do not make the same mistake I did, Honda has really let the quality consumers are used to go downhill.

  Absolutely light years ahead of the competition at the time in 2002/2003. Took the competition till now (mid 2006) to catch up.

  This car has been very reliable to me. I like most aspects of it, minus the fact that the antenna does not fully retract. Otherwise it has been very good to me!

  Picked up an EX-L with nav. Much improved interior over older models. People complain about the center console but it becomes simpler each day. Very smooth drive with more power than the new altima 2.5s which i tested out
