Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Have had our Accord EX V6 for a couple of weeks and picked it over the Camry and Altima after much comparison shopping. Wife loved the black interior so that helped make the final decision. The fit and finish are first rate and love the engine and drivetrain but hope the reliablity and residual value will offset my disappointment with the lack of features found on most other cars in this price range and the boring styling especially the rear end.

Only problem is I have been back to dealer 3x for the annoying problem of center console door problem. once closed it will not open (where I have CDs that I cant get to)and I have to go back again because it STILL isnt fixed they obviously never test it prior to giving it back to me. Otherwise dealer is responsive to my needs

  • Never thought Id own a Honda! - 2003 Honda Accord

Ive owned several sports cars, a Triumph Stag and two Porsches (911s) as an example and I thought a Honda was not the car for me. After researching several cars I decided to test drive a Honda and boy was I impressed. Honda offers a truly amazing car for the money. I highly recommend test driving an Accord before buying any other car, the driver wont be disappointed.

  • Best value for the price - 2003 Honda Accord

I have my car for two months and love it. Wanted to get something that was sporty, reliable, powerful and comfortable. This car has all of those characteristics and more. I researched and drove the VW Passat, Mazda 6, Lexus ES 300, Nissan Altima, Infinity G35 and BMW 325i. Out of all those cars, the Accord offered the most features for the least amount of money. The car has great pickup in both the low and high RPM ranges. There is a slight delay between when I press on the gas and when I see results, similar to a 4 cyl turbo. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the car and would consider getting another one in the future.

  • 2003 2 door coupe Honda - 2003 Honda Accord

I really enjoy the way the car handles in the rain on the interstate. I have always had a fear of hydroplaning, but in this car I feel very much in control with the TBS system. The seats are very comfortable and I love that I can change the volume and the CD on the steering wheel! The car looks awsome, like a "hotwheels" car.

  • First New Car - 2008 Honda Accord

I just bought this car in July (2008) and overall it is a beautiful car. It has nice styling resembling that of a BMW, with the hofmeister kinked window line, uncurved rear door outline, and bold lines. Its a comfortable ride and is very high quality. However, right after I bought it, my brakes were making a rumbling sound/feel, so I took it to the dealer and they installed new rear rotors under warranty. That just didnt seem right to me for a new car to have such an issue. Overall its a great buy for a family or individual who needs the space. The car is pretty large and bulky, though Thats not necessarily a bad thing.

In my years I have owned many cars nothing better then this. Ultra reliable, great milage, great car that fits everybody and everything the size is great, not to big that parking in the city is a problem but big enough to fit everything

  • Awesome - but the tranny sucks - 2008 Honda Accord

I really think this car would be one of the most perfect ones out there, BUT... the auto transmission in the 6cy lacks the spunk and the fun. Bad hesitation from 2-3 or what I call a lazy shift. Also a hesitation if you need to pass on the freeway too. Honda, Get this resolved and you will be on top with this car. One the good, not, the inside in the EX-L is awesome, I feels like a jet airplane cockpit. Fit and Finish is excellent as well.
