Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • LOVE MY HONDA! - 2002 Honda Accord

this is the third Honda I have owned and the first Accord. The seating is VERY comfortable and stylish and the exterior is classy looking. Even though everyone and their brother owns one, its easy to see why. Just a great, dependable car all around and inexpensive compared to some competing, less reliable models.

  • Grand car for all - 2009 Honda Accord

Couldnt decide if I wanted the Audi A5 or this the price was holding me back but I figured I would let the car sell itself I am young at 22 and need a car that can fit my needs and is practical without breaking the bank. The Honda Accord is just this it is very impressive and sleek. I recommend this car to anyone around my age. The coupe that is. Read the safety reports received perfect for front side impact that is something that is very important to me.

  • Great Value - 2006 Honda Accord

This is my first Honda and I got it loaded. I have 4800 miles at this writing and I get 34.1 mpg on freeway at 65 mph, and my commute to work speed of 32 mph around town nets me 24.6 mpg. Nice interior and roomy trunk however back seat is two adults only. Acceleration is good both off line and mid speed for passing. Dont waste your money on the iPod link, it does not work worth a darn and my dealership had little experience with it. Had to take it back twice just to get the main unit to see the iPod and forget searching for your favorite album or artist they cant make it work right. Stereo is decent but could be better. The ride is firm but sporty.

  • Great Car for the money! - 2017 Honda Accord

I leased the base LX sedan in December. After 3 months - I love this car. I was concerned about the CVT - but Ive grown to really like it. No engine high revving through shifts. Also - the quiet ride for a $20K car is like a $30 or $40k car. Handling is sure, braking great and comfort good - although I wished I had upgraded to power seats so I could get a custom fit. Mileage around town is a little lower than stated - but I drive i a bigger city.

To dramatically improve the front, be sure to add the front under spoiler, fog lights, and half bra. To improve the rear fascia, add the rear deck-lid spoiler--not the raised lit one. To make the inside look even sportier, add the all-aluminum/metal trim. Makes the inside look that murch more classier. This is an awesome improvement from my 02 Accord Sedan...much more quiet and comfortable and smoother to drive. Interior is top notch, except for some little things mentioned below.

  • Hondas at High Mileage - 1997 Honda Accord

When you read high rated reviews about 97 Honda Accords, keep in mind that they are written by people who clearly do not have high mileage. I own a 97 Honda Accord LX sedan, and it has fallen apart exponentially after 80,000 miles. I admit that I drive my car hard, and this car will not keep up with others like me. Its seats are not designed well, the suspension falls apart, there is too much body roll, and the transmission isnt smooth during shifts.

  • Honda Accord LX 1999 - 1999 Honda Accord

Car is comfortable. Got a good price. Handles very well. Good in snow. Excellent 4 cyl. engine. Never a problem with it. Although 10 more hp would be great.

  • Brakes - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I was just informed that I will need new rear brakes. The car just has 25K; they ought to go over 40K. The dealership I took the car to told me I was told that they are seeing cars needing brakes in 15K miles. My driving is mostly highway which probably accounts for the fact that I got more. I cannot imagine that Honda was unaware of this problem. Unfortunately I bought a 2009 EX-L Honda Accord before I became aware of the problem. Honda needs to correct it immediately and reimburse customers for any repairs. If they do not correct the problem, I plan on telling everyone I know about it and recommending that they not buy the car.

  • Wow! - 2005 Honda Accord

I am so excited to own a new accord. This car is giving me everything I want. I can even go to Home Depot and fit an eight foot piece of molding in the cabin and still shut the trunk:)

I love my 04 Honda Accord. The ride is heaven...
