Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Decent Car - 2010 Honda Accord
    By -

This car looks great inside and out. The interior is quite spacious with good trunk space. Gets about 32 mpg on freeway and about 23 mpg around town. Bought the car used about 7 months ago and currently has about 92K miles. We have the 4-cyl engine and doesnt require any additional oil between oil changes. This is certainly not a luxury vehicle. Theres a fair amount of road noise and the ride is not as smooth as youd expect. Acceleration and handling is decent, although there is some body roll when making sharp turns. It also has a wide turn radius and rear visibility isnt great. If you want a smooth, quiet, luxurious ride, dont buy this car. If you want a car with a decent driving experience thats spacious, safe, reliable, and looks great, then consider getting the 4-cyl Accord.

This car is a great get in and go car. I had a Jeep previously and it didnt satisfy my need to handle the curves with ease.

Great value, the car is very comfortable, has good brakes, accelerates well, and has little body roll in taking corners. The stick shift is very easy to use. I picked this car after testing the Altima & Mazda6.

  • Stealth Vehicle - 2004 Honda Accord

The Honda Accord Coupe EX V6 6sp manual is the true stealth vehicle. If you are looking for a refined vehicle that makes you giggle when hit the gas pedal, this is the car for you. So tell everyone about how safe and luxurious the car is, youll get no arguement there. What you may want to keep a secret is how awesome it looks, black on black with the Honda Factory Performance package which adds an extra tuned suspension which lowers the car about 1 inch, adds some flair with the underbody spoiler and 17 inch high performance tires, and how that makes the 240 horses grip the road, and the 6 close ratio gears get those horses galloping.

I have had several new cars but this one is absolutely my favorite by far. It has a happy-medium between sporty and luxury. I had been looking for a car that looked young but also mature and this one definitely fits.

  • 2013 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Problems - 2013 Honda Accord

2013 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Dislikes Internal hard drive – Can only copy original music cds, you cannot copy any media files. This is terrible because most people purchase their music online so you do not have the original disc. The internal hard drive becomes useless. Navigation, when you set a destination and start driving the only way to change it is by voice command, which almost never understands what you say. You have to stop the car in order to change it manually. Imagine being on the highway and you have to get off just to set your destination. This also makes your co-pilot useless. 7” screen – Poor music information layout artist, song title and album are laid out in such a way that

  • Why I bought a 2002 - 2000 Honda Accord
    By -

I had my 2000 Accord stolen and then wrecked. I have seen other cars that have been wrecked and I was pleased to see that my car had protected the passenger compartment very well. (So well the thugs were able to escape from the crash unhurt!) My insurance company gave me $21,838 for the car before my deductable. I bought a 2002 the same day for one reason: VALUE. A new car is a bad investment, so if you must drive a new car you might as well buy one that is relible and holds its value.

  • as nice as it comes - 2000 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my 3rd accord with 36,000miles and my first v-6, everytime i drive this car it reminds me why i got an accord, rides sweet, cannot hear the engine on the highway, light throttle responds to quick power. no problems yet, but a little squeak from the sunroof. problem can be solve, spray a little silicon lubricant onto the rubber seal of the sunroof. this fixed my squeak, its because the rubber is dry from its oil and is rubbing against the roof. anyways overall this car is a "10" on my list. slight road noise, depends in certain roads, but no wind noise in my car. my last accord had 256,000 miles on it and lets see how many can i put on this one.

  • Great except for road/wind noise - 1999 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my second Honda Accord and I have generally been pleased with performance & reliability. After purchasing this one I noticed very loud road / wind noise when traveling on the highway. Talking quite loud is necessary for conversation on the highway. The vehicle has a sunroof with bug shield, which may have some culpability but the noise does not seem to be localized in that area. Thats my only complaint, but its a very annoying problem.
