Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Love My Honda - 2003 Honda Accord

I have always driven trucks, Rangers, and for the first time a car has caught my eye and after owning it for 8 months now I would not trade it for the world. My family and roommate are saying their next purchase is going to be a Honda after seeing and riding in mine.

Bought a new Accord 4 months ago and Im loving every minute of it. My wife says that we spend more on gas now than before we bought it simply because I live to drive more than I did before. It is everything I could ask for without spending over $25,000, good performance, quality, design, the whole package.

  • $60,000 car for $less than $30,000 - 2003 Honda Accord

Wow. This is my 5th Accord and this car surpasses anything out there up to $60K. As nice BMWs, Mercedes, & Audis are, they canÂ’t compare in quality and reliability. This car rides, handles, and is assembled with better quality than the last Mercedes CLK430 I had the chance to drive. Finally, its absolutely beautiful-I get looks and compliments all the time. Did I mention the speed? This car rides and handles better than anything in its class and above. It is the most solid, well-built car I have ever driven.

This is the most bang for your buck. Great style, economical, and balanced performance. All of this for under 25K. I am already planning my next HONDA purchase.

  • Be careful! - 2006 Honda Accord
    By -

Bought my accord in early January 06. Love the ride, navi, heated seats, etc. Love this car. BUT - found my car missing within 3 weeks of purchase. Car was stolen, driven around by hoodlum for 3 weeks and totaled w/ more than 18k in body damage. Be careful! I may have an anti-theft, gas shut off switch built into my next car.

  • NEVER AGAIN!!! - 2008 Honda Accord

I bought the loaded EX-V6 with leather for my wife after much research to replace a 2006 plain-Jane Avalon XL. My wife has been mad at me ever since. The EPA mileage ratings and what the dealer bragged about mileage wise are a joke. Supposed to be 19/29 for the V6 but its been more like 17/23. We now have 15,000 miles and the best that we ever got on a road trip was 24. The brakes have squeaked from early on and after twice having the dealer tell us they couldnt recreate the sound we gave up. Ive owned 5 Toyotas, 3 Infinitis, and 2 Nissans and I would gladly take any of them back over this car. There is a great deal of road noise in the cabin and the seats are very low quality.

Overall, I am pleased with this automobile. It would be nice if the passenger front seat were available with the electric controls. Front passenger seat is quite low. I have also noticed a whine in the transmission. This noise is not really loud but it is noticeable through each gear. I did take it to a Honda dealer and they said this was normal. I have owned other Hondas and Toyotas and neither of them had this noise during shifting. Thank You

I drive the heck out of this car. for the power you get out of it the gas mileage is fantastic (I get about 28 mpg)

  • Luxury car on a budget - 2018 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought a 2018 Honda Accord Touring model only four days ago. I was planning on purchasing a Toyota Camry XSE; however, I could not find any moon roofs in the 4-cylinder model. Then, I decided to test drive the Accord with Touring trim. I bought my Accord only two days later! The Touring trim comes standard with a moon roof and leather, my two wants. The Accord blows away the Camry: the Accord is so much better. My other car is a 2014 Mazda6. At the time it was the best mid-size car on the market and won many awards. The Accord is now a much better car than the Mazda6, including the new ones on dealer lots. (My Mazda 6 has 52,000 trouble free miles on it.) The Accord drives and handles like a luxury car. Once you drive one you will want to buy it!
