Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Better than a BMW 2006 330xi - 2009 Honda Accord
By Stan Myers - November 19 - 2:03 amI finally got out of my troublesome 2006 BMW 330x1. Was a $50,000 car that cannot compare to my now 2009 Honda 6 cylinder coupe. So far, I love the Honda. It is fast and rides much much better. I tried out the 2009 Lexus I250 and the 2008 Infiniti 35x. I could not justify spending $10,000 more for the Lexus or Infiniti when I get a car of the same quality for less!

Good Price and Great Value - 2007 Honda Accord
By Paul H - November 19 - 12:43 amI have been looking over the Accord for a while. The SE I feel is a great value. Think LX with Wheels and nice interior and upgraded sound. I bought the Accord for Invoice which I feel was a far price and with the lease special I pay in the 200s with tax per month. Great sales experience except for finance. Tried to force a security system on me. Didnt even try and sell it. Paul Honda Rocks!

2004 Accord DX - an outstanding value - 2004 Honda Accord
By redherring - November 18 - 10:00 amAfter recently comparing various cars, I was surprised to find what an outstanding value the Accord in the DX trim turned out to be. I originaly intended to buy either the Mazda6 or the Toyota Camry, but after test driving those models I decided to check out the Accord. While the base DX is somewhat spartan with some of the luxury items as compared to the Mazda or Toyota, it was also thousands of dollars less, and had a much more solid feel than the competition.

So far, so good.... - 2004 Honda Accord
By QonoS - November 18 - 10:00 amI only have 700 miles on this car and am a bit concerned about complaints on this board re build quality and rattles. Ill post an update after a few thousand miles. But so far, its been great. Fit/finish seem perfect so far, *great* power for a 4, the tranny is plenty slick for me (but I wouldnt mind the short throw 6 speed.)

kudos to Honda! - 2004 Honda Accord
By dap - November 18 - 10:00 amFor the money, the Accord coupe with the silky smooth V6 is the best car anyone can get. I love this car. I drove about every car in its class and nothing could come close. You have to go a couple steps up to a BMW or Mercedes to get this kind of ride. I highly recommend it to everyone wanting a coupe. My friends who own BMW, Infiniti, and Mercedes cars like my Accord as much or better than theirs; no joke.

Best car Ive ever owned - 2006 Honda Accord
By Rebecca - November 17 - 11:13 amGranted, Ive only owned three cars but this is the best, and Im torn what to do at the end of my lease because I LOVE this car! The 4 cylinder 166 HP gives plenty of zoom (for a 4 cylinder anyway, it really has plenty of "get up and go" - my last 2 cars were American 4 cylinders that I had to fight with to go forward). Its comfortable for road trips and much more spacious than my last two cars. Gas mileage is not as great as my last car which got around 30 mpg city, BUT, I will say the sticker said 24 city/34 highway, and I always exceed that - usually 25-26 city, and last road trip I got about 36 highway - cant complain about that.

Okay - Not as good as I hoped - 2007 Honda Accord
By James - November 14 - 12:33 pmWas expecting all round goodness but was surprised and disappointed by this car. Was not going to buy a new car but the presidents day sale made it all worthwhile. I like sporty cars but this car does not know how to smother a sharp jolt. Sends it right to your bone. May be the 17" rims. Steering is stubborn when you just want to make small corrections to your line. The sunroof is so far back that most of the time you will not realize it is there. Access to storage is not convenient, you will have to snake your arm through obstacles and make awkward contortions to access any main pockets. The rear view mirror blocks the sun visors movement. Creaks and groans. Plenty of blind spots

mileage and performance - 2004 Honda Accord
By Dave Mesler - November 13 - 10:00 amI been pleasantly surprised about how much I like this car. I am getting 31 to 33 mpg with mostly highway and some city driving. Very good passing power. Really does not feel like a four. Recently rented a Mazda 6 on a trip and am very glad I got the Honda. The 10,000 mile oil change was a nice surprise also. Very comfortable and roomy inside.

Love this Car - 2004 Honda Accord
By artgal - November 13 - 10:00 amWe bought the V6 2004 Accord after shopping around and have been very happy with our decision. It is a beautiful car, with great handling, all the luxury you want and excellent interior cabin. We drive a lot, and the car is very comfortable for road trips. We have bought Hondas before (as well as Acura and Volvo) and are happy to be back in the Honda camp! We expect great reliability. This car compares very well to entry level luxury cars at a very competative price.
