Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

a true sleeper - 2006 Honda Accord
By mac91 - May 13 - 9:10 amBought a 2006 hybrid with nav as cpo for about half new retail price when it had 47k on the clock. Now close to 80k with zero problems, no repairs. no rattles. Consistent 40 mpg on freeway if driven below 72mph. very comfortable and powerful. hard to beat. I have owned 9 Honda/Acura cars and this one beats them all without question.

08 Accord Coupe - 2011 Honda Accord
By acc33 - May 8 - 2:54 pmI am reviewing a 2008 Honda Accord Coupe v6-L that I recently traded in at the end of my lease. I dont think a whole lot with the car has changed in the past few years and I wanted to share my experience with the car. For me this car is better on the highways than on city streets. The suspension is rigid and you feel a lot of the bumps associated with city driving. The car is long and wide so its not nimble on narrow streets. However, it is very smooth on the highways. Corners great and really grips the road. Acceleration is awesome. Accord steering is the best out there and you feel "in touch" with the road. The car does not do well in the snow. Interior road noise significant.

Nice Car. - 2007 Honda Accord
By kwoods2 - May 8 - 11:00 amBought this car used with 40,00 miles on it. Traded in Bucik Rainier V-8 so naturally the gas mileage is improved. I will say that it is somewhat hard to achieve 30+ mpg because the engine is so big (2.4) You really have to have a light foot and let the transmission do they work. Seats are super comfy and the sound system is spectacular. The ipod issue is annoying. Its somewhat fun to drive because it is rather light so cornering is fun, but its no BMW. My favorite thing is how reliable and easy to own this car is. Honda have really developed a solid car. Not a problem yet for me. Glad I got this instead of Audi A4 because of the reliability. Thanks Honda!

Uncomfortable Seats in the EX-L - 2011 Honda Accord
By rzeles - May 7 - 8:33 pmI just leased a 2011 EX-L after driving a Sonata. I should have stuck with the Sonata. I agree with many of the posts I have seen on the seats. They are horrible. Extremely hard and uncomfortable. Im 57" so maybe may body just doesnt fit properly. I bought a $20 cushion from Autozone, and it made it a little better, however, even after a short ride my rear becomes almost numb. The lumbar is also a problem. Frankly, the car just seems a little too big. Nice ride overall and I like the 190hp 4 cyl. Terrible seats for almost a $27k vehicle.

Disappointed - 2011 Honda Accord
By hondafam3 - May 4 - 8:27 pmThis is a follow-up to my initial review. I now have 3,500 miles on my coupe and experienced the oil burning issue that Ive noted in the comments of others re the VCM engine. My car burned a quart in 3,500 miles. Took it to the dealer. They called Honda and Honda said that up to 1 quart of oil usage per 1,000 miles is within an acceptable range. This is my 4th Honda. The first 3 never experienced this problem. Had Honda disclosed to me that I should expect the VCM engine to use a quart of oil every 3,500 miles I wouldnt have bought the car. The dealer offered no solution other than for me to call Honda and repeat their effort. Im not optimistic and am very unhappy with my purchase.

3rd Accord...Great Car - 2011 Honda Accord
By jackd990 - May 2 - 11:57 amMy wife and I previously owned 1989 LX (165k+ miles) and 1998 LX V-6 with leather, wood and remote lock options (200k+ miles). Also have extensive driving experience with 1990-93 series, 1994-1997 series and a 2003 EX V-6. Have driven Camrys, Altimas and Sonatas. Purchased 2011 EX-L 4 cyl end of Feb. Already have 3500+ miles on it, with highway trips up to 3 hrs duration. Can tell that Hondas folks have been spending time in German cars. Firm European ride, firm and supportive seats (we like both) and acceptable road noise (its an Accord!). Drives like smaller car...handles well, loves curves and steering is very direct. Brakes are comparable to 98s (very good).

Disappointed - 2010 Honda Accord
By mstiltner - April 24 - 6:20 pmLeased this Honda in Sept. 2010 for 36 months. Just need to commute back and forth to work and one vacation a year. I have owned Hondas in the past and I am disappointed with this Accord. The ride quality and road noise are HORRIBLE! I expected more from Honda and now Im stuck with a 36 month mistake.

Very nice car for few months only - 2011 Honda Accord
By kyrider - April 22 - 6:51 pmI purchased my 2011 Accord in November 2010 and in the beginning I loved everything about the car: handling, interior, exterior. But, after only 2200miles I started having vibrations in the steering wheel @ 65-70mph. Took the car for service and after few times back and forth in service they keep balancing the wheels and saying this is normal for Accord. Of course this is code for we cant fix your car and you just got stuck with a lemon. I know that many people have no issues with their Accords but if you want to roll the dice go ahead buy one.
