Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Building Fuel Efficient Cars? - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

The Accord is indeed a nice car. Very disappointed in mileage. Nowhere near the mileage the sticker shows. Only getting 21 MPG on highway while driving speed limit. I also have a Honda Odyssey that "implied" I could get 29 MPG. I can only get 22 MP. Both vehicles are the 6cyl with the VCM. I think Honda needs to correct this. One of the driving factors for the purchase was the fuel economy. Outside of that, the car is excellent.

  • Simply Unbelievable! - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Bought nighthawk black metallic, what a head turner. Most lookers cannot believe its a Honda. Faster than my previous 324i and takes off like a rocket and handles like a dream. Traded 2004 EX-L V6 4 dr also a great car but cannot compete with this beauty. High Honda quality interior materials, great stereo, and loaded with every option you could think of.

  • The finest Accord Ever ! - 2008 Honda Accord

After tracking almost 2 months of research on American and Japanese mid-size car models, only two stands out for their performance, reliability and safety - Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. But 2008 is a year of Honda Accord. My my, I have never experienced such smooth performance, stability, pick-up, mileage and comfort that I am enjoying with my new 2008 Honda Accord. People do compare sedans outer body trim with BMW 5-series, but I feel its really unique and give elegant looks as compared to older Honda models. Moreover, range of trime lines gives tough competition to Camry. I admire engine performance and comfort while driving atleast 30 mile a day to job.

  • So Far So Good - 2003 Honda Accord

While this may be a new body style and engine, I still expect the same reliability and fun-to-driveness of my past 2 accords. While this is my first coupe, it has been extremely fun to drive, especially when the VTEC kicks in, WHOOOSH. fun fun fun. So far so good, and I dont expect any less.

  • Squeaks and Rattles - My Last Honda - 2001 Honda Accord
    By -

After owning 5 Hondas, I never thought I would have to take one in for repairs at 40k miles... but my 2001 Accord just proved me wrong! The air vent fan has already gone, just after it came out from warranty (figures). Sure, the Accord drives nice and the engine is very quiet, but the squeaks and rattles from the interior make up for that. From the dash board to the glove box, new rattles emerge every day, testing my patience and driving me nuts! Also, some of the exterior trim around the dash board is coming off. Sometimes it feels like I am driving an American car. Honda seems to be in a quality rut and they just lost another customer because of it.

  • not bad for a sedan - 2000 Honda Accord
    By -

I loved this car, but I dislike the handling so I installed a sport suspension to give it a tighter feel. The drivers seat cusion could use a little more support because mine is getting soft from everday driving. other than that it still drives, feels, and looks new. love it then, love it still. Great performance from the 200 hp

  • Caution: Cheap Leather - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

Honda - Like death and taxes has been a great product over the years. But, in just over 2 years, with good care, leather is showing signs of cracking. Dealership has informed me they get multiple complaints each week. American Honda will not replace even with the warranty still in effect. Let the buyer beware!

  • The Accord Coupe V6 is an AWESOME daily driver! - 2016 Honda Accord

GREAT car. Love the Sports mode. Love the handling. Just make sure you dont need to get people in and out of the back seat a lot. FUN TO DRIVE and get GREAT gas mileage for a V6.

  • Good in most respects but I sold mine - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

This was my first Honda and I later found out that it is not uncommon for people to say that the seat seems hard and the ride a bit stiffer and harder than some other cars. I wanted a comfortable car that is economical and fun to drive. This is a great car, that is fun to drive, and it has good electronics, but it isnt comfortable (to me) and the road and wind noise were more than I thought was acceptable for such a nice, new car. So after five months and 8900 miles, I sold it and bought a Ford Fusion Hybrid, which I really like a lot more.
