Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Honda - 2008 Honda Accord
By RPH - January 17 - 5:46 amFormer Toyota owner, the Hondas fit & finish and overall quality seems to be on a higher scale. I have been very pleased by Hondas treatment after the sale by the dealer and also the factory.

Still ways to go Honda. - 2009 Honda Accord
By Fernando - January 16 - 9:26 pmI Have a 91 CamryDX V6 with 412700 miles WOW!!That is a car, only regular service,so i decided to buy another toyota but did not liked. So I went and I purchased an ACCORD EXL 4cl. On my first fill up I drove 590 miles and the car took 17gallons of gas,of course I drove it at 55 mph for the first 3000 mies,so i am happy. The only problem I see is the Engine noise but I fixed That by changing from 87 to 93 octane and now the car is more responsive and quieter.Transmission is good and what I like is that I can shift manual just like my Camry.Only time will tell about reliability,Considering I commute 39,000 miles a year,90% Hyway driving. I do have a noise on the rear breaks.

The manual transmission, a dying breed. - 2015 Honda Accord
By Brian O. - January 14 - 3:06 pmI purchased my 2015 Accord Sport 6 speed MT April of 2015. After one year of ownership and over 16k miles, this Accord is hands down, one of the best cars under $25k. I looked at almost every car in this segment and was impressed with the Accords overall value. I was really adamant about opting for the manual transmission. I drove a Sport model with the CVT, and boy, the CVT is not for me. Yes, I get its efficient design and concept of having a "constant" power ratio to achieve best mpg possible. I feel though you sacrifice SO much driving experience for 1 to 2 mpg. In my opinion, the manual transmission really brought this car to life; definitely more fun to drive. I stand 65 at 230 lbs. I was very impressed with head room and adequate leg room from not only a driver standpoint, but also as a rear passenger. The telescoping steering column telescopes more than enough for my desired comfort. Driver seat is OK, I find myself adjusting it on road trips of more than three hours - but that is almost standard in any car Ive had with my abnormal size. Visibility is excellent; the pillars are smaller than most new cars. Safety is another reason I purchased - in 2013 the Accord was one of the only cars to receive a "Good" rating for the new "small overlap" crash test by the IIHS. In mixed driving conditions I consistently get 28-30 mpg. If Im driving all highway I can easily get 35-37 mpg. To find a car that I can easily fit in, comes very well equipped, gets up to 35 mpg, has somewhat of a fun-to-drive factor, a low cost of ownership, a great resale value, and is a safety "top pick" by the IIHS, what else do you really need? Its worth the road noise and cheap feeling power window switches. (Youre buying a Honda not an Acura).

Good Looks, Loud Inside - 2009 Honda Accord
By mes357 - January 13 - 11:53 amI traded my 2003 Camry. Went to get it back in 3 days but was sold. Accord drives like a sport car with lots of interior noise. You feel all small bumps in the road. The steering wheel does not have a comfortable spot for my large hands. Is fun to drive around town but lacks power when you step on it. When you let off the gas it is like you down shifted, the car slows itself. Weird!! The brakes squeak from the day I bought it. Stops good but the squeak is annoying.

BEST CAR EVER OWNED IN 50 YEARS - 2006 Honda Accord
By Joe Kordash - January 12 - 5:02 amThis is the best car I have ever owned in 50 years. So good I just purchased another new one after driving for 248,500 miles. Still able to get 29 - 30 mpg on the highway. Was not really ready to part with it but I wanted the latest in technology safety and creature features.

A very disappointed Longtime Honda Owner - 2004 Honda Accord
By RPJD - January 11 - 2:00 amI couldnt wait to buy this car. I have owned Honda for over twenty years. This car has been trouble right from the start! I have had so many problems that I cant list them here. My car is just over one year old and sounds so loud that I thought I had muffler problems. It rides like a ten year old car too! My dealer has tryed to do their best but cant do anything about the fact that this car is just not a well built car. I wish I kept my old honda. I have spent more time at the dealership with this "NEW" car than I have ever in the past. I can assure you that Honda is no longer built any better than any other car out there! Very disappointed.

Recently purchased on December 7, 2017 - 2017 Honda Accord
By Bernice - January 10 - 4:05 pmI purchased this car on December 7, 2017. It is a beautiful car and it has a smooth ride. This is my 3rd Honda; therefore, you can see that I am a Honda car. I still have my 1999 Honda Accord V6 Sedan and it has 208,260 miles on it. It will be 19 years old and it is still in mint condition. If you take care of your Honda, it will surely take care of you. I am planning on having this 2017 Honda According V6 Touring for those many years. I have not had the time to operate everything on the car yet, but I feel confident they will be 5 starts.

My new 2004 6mt - 2004 Honda Accord
By Jeremy - January 6 - 5:00 amFirst off being a car fanatic, and having driven almost everything on the market, I am going to be a tough critic. However, I recently purchased an 04 Accord coupe in silver, black leather with the navigation and xm package. After two weeks of driving, I absolutely love this car! For me it is the perfect blend of a sporty 2 + 2 with practicality and reliability. Great interior ergonomics with excellent styling. The six speed is smooth along with the consistant power band of the engine. It has made my work commute in atlanta traffic much more fun.
