Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Get all details from Dealership before paperwork - 2015 Honda Accord
By Svaidya Ji - March 4 - 12:28 pmHonda warranty is only for 36K miles or 3 years whichever comes first. Verify the dealership has all the accessories (e.g. 2 sets of keys and proper spare tire in the trunk). Also ensure that no scratches are hiding behind the dirt on the car body.

What you would expect - 2009 Honda Accord
By Doug Atkins - March 2 - 10:33 pmThis is my 5th new Honda. I owned an Accord in 2003 and gave it up when my company offered me a company car in 2007. They gave me a Toyota Camry LE V6. The V6 Camry had loads of power. Got decent gas mileage as well. For some reason, I really missed my 2003 Accord LX (4 cylinder). The Honda was just put together better. I could tell the Camry was a mass production car. The floor carpeting came in several places, some of the plastic molding wasnt fit together very well, etc. Bought a new 2009 Accord EX-L (4 cylinder) to replace it. Fit and finish is superior like a remembered it and everything is laid out within easy reach and makes sense. Relatively noise free, ride is very stiff.

Honda has done it again - 2008 Honda Accord
By Rubired - March 2 - 7:06 pmWe have owned this car for almost a year now and I will not say that there isnt room for improvements (very minor room), but if you are looking for a family car that is very high quality, solid, roomy, very fun to drive, great handling and problem free there is no reason to look any further. I have owned them all Dodge, Chevy, Toyota, Ford and Hyundai and I can tell you that when new little difference exist between the brands that make a buyer go in a certain direction, but after 3 and 4 years after purchase is where the Honda shines above the rest. Ive owned a 2000 civic before this and also a 2009 civic now and I can say with confidence that time make Hondas the cars other try and live up to.

Road noise and yet still more and more. - 2009 Honda Accord
By Chuck - March 1 - 2:33 pmWell, I reviewed this Honda back In April and here it is mid September. In addition to my post on 04/26/09 Id have to add more bad news. In addition to the gripes I have with the car the list grows still larger. The seats are the worst seats in any car Ive owned and Ive once owned a Yugo when I was a lad so I know a bad seat when I feel one. Also the Brake discs are now warped and feel that "judder" one feels when you brake. I have had many cars but never one that had just 7,000 miles on it that felt this old so fast. The sunroof although has only been opened a few times sometimes takes 2-3 times to close. I went to try and trade it in they offered me 18-19K after only 5 months.

2005 Accord EX - The Perfect Sedan- - 2005 Honda Accord
By treihing - February 28 - 8:26 pmThere is so much to say about my 2k5 Accord EX-L. The features I love are as follows: XM Satellite Radio, Dual Climate Control, 6-Disc In-Dash CD, Heated Seats, Great Quality Leather and Huge Trunk Space. Gas Milage is damn good at 24mph in the City - This is the mileage stated on the stick and the mileage I have seen. The overall drive and performance is incredible. The drive is as smooth as any luxury car if not better. Overall, this car is a steal at $22,100.00 - Stick is $25,015.00. There is room to negotiate so hit the dealer hard for a good price.

Satisfied customer - 2002 Honda Accord
By tmalik - February 25 - 6:56 amBought our EX-V6 new days before the all-new 2003s were launched (didnt like their styling for the extra price). Very satisfied so far. Have put 45k over 3 years. Only issues: -steering wheel mounted audio controls didnt function properly, replaced under warranty - driver side headlight bulb replaced twice in 3 years, had similar problems on my 93 Accord - front brake pads & tires close to replacement at only 45k - not as quick at normal acceleration as I thought 200 hp would be. - auto climate control isnt very smart (tends to run the a/c even at a high temperature setting). The above are minor issues, in my opinion and dont keep me awake at night. Overall very pleased.

My New 6-Speed Accord Coupe - 2007 Honda Accord
By DavidS - February 24 - 9:43 amI decided to wait to write this review until owning the car for a month. I love this car and have no idea why people are complaining about the ride? Ride is not stiff enough actually, a little more body roll than I would like. But overall I think this car does an amazing job of balancing luxury, sport, reliability, and comfort in one vehicle. The 6-speed/V6 combo rocks!

I Love My Accord - 2004 Honda Accord
By Lee - February 23 - 9:43 pmI have had this car for over a year now & just love it! I have been on many road trips and the hwy mpg is great! City mpg could be better but I do have a heavy foot and the ac is always on full blast with the Houston heat. I have had a few rattles but again, Houston is pothole city, and I have had to take it in for a suspension problem. I do agree with others when they say Honda should tighten up on Quality Control with all Hondas made in the US. But I know this car will last for 15 years and have very little or no problems. Nothing is perfect. But this car is very close. I love the Navigation and the whole interior and all the standard features. I also feel safe with all the airbags.

By trwalker - February 23 - 2:00 amLOVE THE BODY STYLE OF THE CAR I TRADED IN A 2000 ACCORD BEFORE HAVING THIS. THE ONLY THING THAT REALLY ERKS ME IS THAT IS A SQUEAKY/RATTLING NOISE WHEN DRIVING. VERY ANNOYING.
