Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

This is the second Honda I have purchased and I would totally buy another in the future! This one is going to be my teenage daughters in a few years...especially since it was rated one of the safest sedans on the road!

  • Another 02 going strong!!! - 2002 Honda Accord

Only hit 25,000 miles so far, hoping to add another zero to the end of that number by the time I need a new one. Typical Honda, my forth one and still perfect for the price. Sure itll never be a BMW, and the interior will never be a Lexus, but for $20,000 its on par with the best of them. Mechanically flawless as usual, I continue to be happy with my purchase, and would recommend the Accord to anyone

  • Tiring to drive - 2001 Honda Accord

Hard to drive. The slippery steering is designed to create resistance against the driver. The direction is too direct. A slight movement of the hand nearly result in a change of lane. Imposible to drive with one hand making a long trip very tiring. There is no suspension except for something I would call a bump amplifier. There is a lot of road noise. The steering wheel block the speedometer and the highbeam light. The steering wheel is too far from the driver. Not enough clearance for the legs. I seems this car is designed for small people. The seat hurt my back to the point now I am now getting rid of that car. (though the service was good).

The Accord coupe is good-looking, fun to drive, completely reliable (of course it is-its a Honda) car that gets good gas mileage to boot. My one complaint is the low entry height. Im 62" and its a little awkward getting in to the car. All the pluses more than make up for this, though.

  • BEST 05 - 2005 Honda Accord

The 2005 Honda Accord EX V6 is a really wonderful vechicle. Not only is it beautiful, but it handles very well. I get compliments about my car every time Im driving. The gas mileage is good. I made a wise choice in purchasing my Accord and I dont have any regrets. I like the fact that the radio controls are on the steering wheel also, so its not a distraction while Im driving to change from radio stations to my C.D. music selections.

  • Totally dependable - 1990 Honda Accord

This is my 1st Honda. During the last 12 years, with minimum maintenance and almost no repairs, the car helps me getting around with an ease. Never had to worry about car trouble on long trips. Great peace of mind. I especially like the steering and handling of the Accord, very nimble. The car is still running strong and the engine hasnt lost any power, feels it can go on for another 10 years. Honda sold me on its dependability.

  • Great Car - 2008 Honda Accord

Love this car! I was slightly concerned about all the reviews with the seats being uncomfortable. I love the seats-they are supportive. The car drives really well. I have not noted the headlights flashing like other reviews. More power than the Camry, more trunk space than the Camry. Very comfortable, sporty. Love it!

  • First time buyer... - 1990 Honda Accord

Just purchased 1990 accord exr with power roof, power locks/windows, etc. A/C no longer works. Otherwise in excellent condition. Some surface rust needs to be sanded painted and rust protected. 2.2L 4 cyl. Excellent handling and acceleration. Definitely fun to drive. Smooth at high speeds. Would definitely purchase another Accord old or new. Seems to be reliable. Everybody says Ill put 250,000 miles or more on it!

At 175,000 miles, Ive had no problems -only very minor items. It is the nearly perfect car.

  • Excellent Value, great reliability! - 2004 Honda Accord

We purchase this car after owning a Ford for two years. This is an outstanding car. Reliability is excellent - we already have 54K miles with NO repairs required. Regular maintenance visits are enjoyable - things are explained well and techinicians are courteus. The ergonomics of the interior are absolutely perfect. The quality of the design and build is apparent, and fuel economy is great for a car of its size. The 4-cylinder engine feels more like a 6-cylinder with more than ample power for passing and expressway merging. So far I have convinced my sister, my parents, and my Grandmother to purchase an Accord based on our experience. We just cant say enough about how pleased we are
