Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Was hoping for better mileage - 2005 Honda Accord
By sully - April 14 - 4:26 amCar is excellent, however I was really hoping for better gas mileage... roughly around 33.5-34 in mostly highway driving. Bought it when gas hit 3.50/gal for premium - I do like that it takes regular gas. I drive a TON (I expect to put 25K miles/yr on it), so I hope it loosens out some (just bought it 3 weeks ago)... dumped an Audi S4, so its a different car than what Im used to...

3 Months with an Accord Hybrid - 2005 Honda Accord
By JR - April 12 - 12:40 amAfter owning a 2001 Honda Accord V6, the thrill of owning the first ever Accord Hybrid was highly anticipated. This vehicle has met and actually exceeded our expectations for quality and just pure fun to drive. It has far more pep than other Accord models, handles remarkably well, rides extremely well and is just a pleasure to drive.

dealership sold me a lemon!!!!!!!! - 2003 Honda Accord
By amanda2 - April 11 - 2:00 amthe reason why I bought a 2003 Honda Accord was the fact I loved the exterior design and I thought since it was a Honda it would last me for a long time. at this rate, I dont think thats possible. the dealership sold me a lemon and whenever I call the service dept. they give me the run around. one person working in the service dept. had the nerve to tell me a certain smell was normal for my car. which I know is false information. does Hondas employees seriously think whenever they hear a female voice on the other line they can give out b/s information?!

It works - 2003 Honda Accord
By dannyjoe - April 11 - 2:00 amPeppy, tight, rough-riding, fairly quiet, roomy, and accecptable is what comes to mind. The disc player skips sometimes, and the car pulls to the right - I am told by the dealer that they all do that - a safety feature for those who fall asleep.

By RickyO - April 11 - 2:00 amGreat price for the accord, great interior features, solid built car, Realiable, fun to drive. Purchased accord over altima because you have to add packages to the altima, to get what the accord provides standard.

2003 Accord DX - 2003 Honda Accord
By Rabih - April 11 - 2:00 amI bought a new 2003 Accord DX Auto from Gillman in Houston. I think the DX is the best value around as it is on average 2000$ cheaper than the LX. It is better equipped than ever with a CD player, power windows, ABS, Automatic and AC. The engine is smooth and the gas mileage is excellent. The build quality is up to Honda standards. The interior is comfy and attractive. The exterior is conservative but elegant. In brief, it is a very practical and reliable car.

Honda doesnt honor its warranties - 2004 Honda Accord
By whybee1st - April 11 - 2:00 amLoud noise when on idle and when you are stopped on the drive shift (roaring noise, close to a diesel engine) and that since the first 500 miles. The front windshield has stress points, causing it to crack, they didnt honor it, were rude and arrogant. Early on the breaks were making noise, they were aware of the defect but refused to fix it under the warranty. Another break problem(I use original Honda break pads) every 10,000 miles screeching sounds starts and vibrating movements occurs when applying the breaks; the rotors gets wavy surface and needs resurfacing every time the break pads are changed and goes bad shortly after.

3 week review!!! - 2008 Honda Accord
By 1st Impression - April 10 - 9:43 pmIve had the car for three weeks now and in mixed driving Im averaging 25 mpg. Overall I like the car and dont regret buying it. Its reasonable comfortable and very roomy. The engine is a little harsh sounding. I feel a lot of vibration on the steering wheel when Im on the highway. The stereo is typical Honda which isnt saying much. The dash is nice but the plastics seem on the cheap side. No outside temp gauge, my fathers toyota corolla has that. One thing I really like about this car is the bodystyle. I really think Honda hit a homerun with it, very classy but sporty at the same time.
