Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Excellent!! - 2002 Honda Accord
By Timmy D - April 18 - 10:00 amI bought this car with 2 000 miles on it. Ive put another 5 000 on it with no problems whatsoever. No rattles or sqeeks. My previous vehicle was a Ford...aka Lemon! The engine is good for a 4 cyl and the auto transmission reacts well. Im lovin this Honda, and I recommend an Accord to anyone looking for a sedan. Rear spoiler is a must, the car looks 10x better with it.

Poor Radio Reception - 2003 Honda Accord
By ed martin - April 18 - 10:00 amPoor radio reception. Addition of traditional external antenna would improve reception. The passenger seating is too low to the ground.

Im back for a second round - 2003 Honda Accord
By Hooked - April 18 - 10:00 amI had my first accord for 13 years and put 220000 miles on it. I really wanted a different car this time. Determined that there would be another car out there that I would like as well or better, I test drove all the cars in that class ranging in price from $18,000-$32,000. When I finally tested an Accord, I knew I was getting another one. There wasnt a car I drove that had as much to offer for the price. The style is much different than my old Accord so I really dont feel like I have the same car again. This car has power, comfort, style and is nice to look at too. I highly recommend it.

2010 Honda Accord EX 4 cyl. - 2010 Honda Accord
By Jason Quade - April 18 - 9:01 amLeased the car new, and then purchased based on trade in value. Very good mileage. Was overall a solid car with minor issues that were not addressed by Honda during visits. The car had issues with some gaskets causing cross contamination between oil and coolant systems covered under warranty. Poor range/life with the keyless entry was replaced several times under warranty, but you still need to be within 20 feet of the car to open/close locks. The engine made rattling noises at startup from the day I purchased it. Once warm, the care would not make the noise. Several years later a TBS was put out for a faulty VTC actuator that Honda will not honor. Top that off with the fact that the car burns 3/4 quart of oil every 1000 miles (Honda warranties require 1 full quart per 1000 miles for warranty claim) and this is not a good option for anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle. Other minor issues are uncomfortable seating (forward fixed position head rests), noisy AC fan (would not cover under warranty), noisy drive in general, lights went out in dash (5 years is common according to Honda service) and repairs at a dealer are absolutely insane ($200 for swap out bulbs in center console, $650 for front brake replacement only, etc.) I believe the Honda products have fallen off. Family friends Fusion was the same price and features (some extras) and the car is holding up much better mechanically and resale value.

STILL Unhappy With Car - 2013 Honda Accord
By brdln - April 18 - 8:38 amDislike this car more than ever. Posted earlier review, titled "buyers remorse", and it just keeps getting worse. The radio sceeches and will not work at times, the floor mats are so cheap, drivers is showing wear at 3 mths, 1600 miles. Had to buy aftr mrket mats. Car rides rough, any small bump in the road beats you to death. I hate driving this car, it is the roughest and bounciest car I have ever driven. My Tacoma Prerunner w/hard suspnsion on unpaved rds is smoother. Daylite running lights Can Not be turned off when the car is running. If there was any way I could afford the thousands in loss, I would dump this pig. The list of what is wrong with this car keeps going.

Concerned - 2009 Honda Accord
By Dave Lane - April 17 - 10:20 pmWe have less than 800 miles and noticed that the headlights dim each time that the motor cooling fan kicks on. Honda tells me that this is "normal". Does that mean that ALL 4cyl Hondas have this problem. If I would have known this prior to the sale, I would not have bought the car.

Very Disappointed - 2008 Honda Accord
By kmw - April 16 - 7:36 amI bought this car with such high hopes but so far all I have is buyers regret. The interior has loud vibrating squeaking rattles coming from the glove box. Even while on a perfectly paved road the rattling noise from the glove box is so bad it drowns out the stereo and I have to drive the car with the glove box open to stop the rattle. I returned the car to the dealer and all they did was drive the car around the block and tell me there is no rattle. My guess is they dont have a clue on how to go about fixing it. Also driving over 70 mph produces loud wind noise. Everything else such gas mileage, handling, stereo system is fine but it doesnt make up for the loud rattles and wind noise.

Wish it was a bit better!!!! - 2006 Honda Accord
By CoronaL - April 15 - 1:33 amThis is my 3rd new honda in the past 3yrs for my family. 2 previous were practically flawless, however this one has been somewhat of a PIA. 3rd gear is problematic to shift into at times, and dealer "cannot replicate the problem". Id challenge they havent really tried. Known problem for this transmission in a minority of cars. I dont have time to do other peoples jobs so I suffer through it. Otherwise I really like the car, its very comfortable, handles well, is good in winter etc. Just wish that MPG was a bit better, I have yet to hit the HWY rating even at 65mph on even interstate Im falling 3-4mpg short. 3rd Gear is synchro issue, but dealer wont fix it, making car less fun.

Wind Noise on the Highway: - 2017 Honda Accord
By Parvez - April 14 - 6:14 pmI just bought my 2017 Accord Sport SE last week as I love the design of this car. But quickly found out that Cabin of the car is too noisy on the highway, as we have to drive more than 100 miles on the highway to get back home. You hear the wind noise much more then normal, especially if you are sitting on the back seat, but even you hear the wind noise on the front seats. I complaint bout the wind noise and took my car back to the dealership and they try to adjust the doors but that didnt make any big difference. I am wondering if anyone else has also experienced the wind noise on the highway? It could be annoying if you are driving long distance and continuously has to listen to the noise. I would like to add one more thing which could add lot of comfort to the passengers sitting on the back seat to have a AC went in front of the back seat.
