Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

great ride - 2005 Honda Accord
By John from NJ - May 3 - 5:16 amI fell in love with this car when I test drove it. I compares favorable with a BMW 325 with a lot more for a much lower price. The NAV and the XM radio are really to fun and have a huge "Wow!" factor. Handling is nimble and theres all the power you could want. This is a fun car

My Accord - 2005 Honda Accord
By Rajamuda - May 2 - 10:00 amFun to drive! Its very responsive. The handling is superb. For a coupe, it has a nice trunk space. If you worry about being generic, this is not one of them.

Buzzard Bones Ride - 2004 Honda Accord
By focuserror - May 2 - 10:00 amThe driver seat slips out of place every day. Honda says there is nothing wrong. The passenger side airbag was replaced and then all of the front dash and headliner started rattling. It sounds like the windshield is creaking. The passenger front and rear door and windows are also rattling and buzzing. The seats have several defects with the upholstery losing its "fuzz" and going bald or forming strange creases where nobody even occupied the space. This is a very disappointing car - not to mention the strange whine coming from the engine area.

Comfort/Quality/Class - 2000 Honda Accord
By markinri - May 2 - 10:00 amFun to drive, always reliable, comfortable inside. Controls are very stylish and easy to use. Fun to drive with the sunroof open, widows down, sound system going...Feels sometimes like driving a race car.

Ill be sad to trade it in... - 1990 Honda Accord
By shamrock - May 2 - 2:00 amMy 1990 Accord LX was my first car, bought right after college. Its been very reliable for 10 of its 12 years...unfortunately, I rear-ended someone 2 years ago, and its had some problems since then. Now Im looking for a new Accord or Civic, but I know Ill be a bit depressed to see it go.

Wonderful Slick Sedan - 2003 Honda Accord
By dukan - April 30 - 2:00 amWhen driving the Accords competitors including the Camry, I felt indifferent and no excitement. One test drive in the Accord and I grinned like a fool. The Accord is so smooooth in everything it does, great build quality, thoughtful with many nice touches. Manual transmission Accords are harder to find but much more satisfying to drive. Gas mileage is great for a car with this weight and power. Youve got to try the slick shifter, very Miata/MR2-like!!! The exterior is a little peculiar at first but Ive grown to like it! Consumer Report, Car & Driver and Road & Track magazines are right on the money. The Accord is the best!

Unacceptable harsh ride for family sedan - 2016 Honda Accord
By cc - April 28 - 6:35 pmIve always loved Hondas, ever since my college years when I started with a plain old civic hatchback, then in 2000 I got a new Si, with superb handling and still great reliability. After getting my wife a brand new 2016 Accord, I was surprised by how harsh the ride was, specially the rear of the car seems like its riding on lowered suspension and I felt every bump on the road. I can understand having a sports suspension, however this was not the well behaved suspension I had on my Si! It transmits too much of the roads imperfections and its definitely much worse than my old Si in handling the roads imperfections and transmits more of the vibrations to my back than the civic. And are we talking about a family sedan?! The worse is that the Accord nearly went airborne on the toll way with one of the bigger bumps, something that alarmed everyone sitting in the car (5) at that time. Wow... how did the Accord go from a family sedan to something I wouldnt recommend to anyone buying a sports sedan I dont know... bad Honda. This is definitely the worst riding sedan Ive owned and driven from MB C, S class, to Fords Mustang and CV.

Great Vehicle - 2017 Honda Accord
By David Garrett - April 28 - 4:54 amI knocked off 1 star from the reliability because the battery had to be replaced two weeks after purchasing the new vehicle. Other than that, I love my 2017 Honda Accord Touring!!!

Great car, not great mileage! - 2006 Honda Accord
By Hybrid2006 - April 26 - 6:33 amI bought this car thinking I was going to get 30mpg average, but I was wrong. I get 23-25 and to me I was only saving really little on gas. I love the car overall; the quality, the smoothness, the features, the power and performance. I mean for 30-33k I think I could of gotten the other accords and saved money and gas. They made the build (exterior) look the same and you really have to drive that car really really slow to even get 25-30 mpg. I am upset for them to even advertised 38 mpg because I have never gotten that good of a mileage driving smooth and slow.
