Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Im on Number 5! - 2016 Honda Accord
By Kristian - May 11 - 10:07 amAfter many years of owning Accords I wanted to branch out so I test drove the competitors and went back to the Honda yet again. I ended up purchasing an Obsidian Blue Pearl 2016 Honda Accord EX-L w/ HondaSensing and Navigation along with the V6. My previous Accord was a Gray 2013 Honda Accord Sport. I love the styling on the 2016-17 Accord, but after almost two years of ownership, I still havent come around to the wheels. I find them to be almost a little bit too small and even a little bit tacky. I purchased the Sport 19" wheels as my spring/summer/fall rims and I am using the stock wheels as my winter set. In terms of how well the Accord performs in the snow, I am still disappointed to see FWD only on the Accords but it seems to perform well if you buy a really expensive reputable winter tire set. I find myself loving the performance in the Accord. The one thing I dislike is the steering. Just as numb and weightless as my 2013. The fuel economy is really pretty good for a Mid-Size Family Sedan with a V6. I have been averaging around 25.7 MPG and thats without the use of the ECON button which is really impressive by the way. The keyless entry system works okay but I do wish there was a sensor behind the door handle to make it that much more convenient. The interior is really where I spend most of my work week and I think that it serves it purpose very well. I find all of the Honda vehicles to be very driver centered. The steering wheel is my favorite part about my Accord. I like the thick, 4-spoke design. All of the buttons and IMID Display controls are in the perfect spot and are the perfect size. The seats are very comfortable, as they should be in every Accord. I really love the storage in the Accord. The Dual-Screen Design is something I am not terribly fond of and I am crossing my fingers that they do away with it for the 2018 Accord. Overall, I love my Accord and plan on putting my order in for the Redesigned 2018 Accord in the fall. :)

Honda Hits Scores Again! - 2005 Honda Accord
By HondaUser6465 - May 9 - 1:56 amIn todays world of 80+ speeds, I am a little less than enthusiastic about the gas mileage I got from this seemingly-stingy Accord. But coupled with the 5 speed manual, the car proves fun to drive, reliable as the day is long and sporty in a sensible, Honda-esque manor. When looking at this car, be sure to think about the V6 as the 4 cylinder does power the car well, but its a full-size sedan, and those extra ponies can sure help move the car. Otherwise, a great all-around driver.

Rating of 2003 Honda LX Sedan - 2004 Honda Accord
By Carl Kidd - May 8 - 10:00 amThis car has been a pleasure to deive. I have qwned 5 other Hondas, but this is the best. The option to go with a 4 cylinder engine to get good gas mileage has been a plus. I frequently get 30 mpg on everyday driving. It has plenty of zip on interstate deiving. Reliability as always with a Honda is excellent. The 2003 model has much improved inside room as compared with other models.

Excellent value, great looks, beautiful redesign.. - 2016 Honda Accord
By Michael - May 7 - 12:04 amWe had the same model Accord for 10 years and it was going strong with 130,000 miles, never in the repair shop once. It was wrecked in an accident so it was replaced with same model, Accord EXL. The new 2016 model is fantastic value for the money, a timeless design, very reliable, great on gas, and great resale value...not that wed ever sell it! Loads of passenger room, very comfortable front and back seats and good size trunk. The tech is quick to learn and works very well with android (me), or Apple (my wife). Not a single thing I could ask for on this car.

Bad Seats - 2007 Honda Accord
By G - May 6 - 12:10 pmI love the way my Accord LX looks and drives. However, I have been very disappointed with how uncomfortable the seats are. The angle of the seat is much steeper than in other 4-door sedans. Without a power adjustment I find myself constantly adjusting the seat front to back and up and down without any success in terms of finding comfort. Hondas look sharp and their engine performance is incredible but they have really let me down on comfort.

Honda Accord - 2008 Honda Accord
By Mike - May 5 - 10:40 pmIve had 2 Accords before this one, both of them were 2002, and both were leagues better than this one. This car had rattles at 500 miles and has horrible performance even for a four cylinder. The car hesitates when accelerating. When paying 22k for a new car, it should be solid and not have any squeaks or rattles. I am very disappointed with this car. On top of all this, I get horrible gas mileage; in city driving I get 15-16 mpg. Apparently the car isnt broken in yet, but I know someone who has a new 4 cyl Accord which is past the break-in period, and he also gets around 17 mpg. I would NOT recommend this car to anyone. Go for the Camry; I test drove it, and its much better than this car

Another Great Honda - 2007 Honda Accord
By RAC - May 5 - 9:06 amJust leased my 4th Accord. I had an 05, 01, and an 83 and also lease an 04 Civic. Loved them all, but really like this car. It looks classy and drives sporty, with excellent handling and a very comfortable and well finished interior. I dont think there is a better combination of quality, features, and price on the market. Fuel efficiency will improve once I break the car in. I miss the red gauge indicators on my 05 a little, but the gray/white ones are growing on me. The Alloy rims are an improvement, with no annoying edges like my 05s to collect break dust.
