Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Satans own automatic transmission - 1994 Honda Accord

This car has the crudest, roughest automatic transmission I have ever experienced, rough enough to spill your morning coffee if you happen to be sipping while it is shifting. Reliability is atrocious. At 27,000 miles the temperature control knob stopped operating. At 35,000 miles the drivers door window fell into the door frame and would not roll up. There was an exhaust system rattle from underneath the passenger compartment the entire time I owned the car. At 65,000 miles the ABS computer module failed to the tune of $800. At 70,000 miles the odometer stoppped working. My 3rd and last Honda product.

  • Honda Accord reliable and fun to drive - 2003 Honda Accord

No major problems over the last 13 years. The only downside is that you do tend to feel the bumps in the road a little more than other cars I have driven in. Other problems are more due to aging of the car: radio display dimmed to practically non-existent in the 11th year (too expensive to replace) and the driver side window occasionally gets stuck in the up position (even after the repair, but not as often), usually works after 5 to 30 seconds (started in about year 10). But it still drives like new.

  • Gorgeous and classy ! - 2016 Honda Accord

This is a Honda, great quality, tremendous engine, low maintenance, beautiful sleek lines, durable, top notch electronics, sturdy, comfy, gas saving, and lots of air bags. Safety features are amazing, like brakes, airbags, stabilizing features for bad weather, too. Heated seats, dual controls for air/heat. Huge trunk. Roomy inside, and a smooth suspension system. We love the deep "steel" gray color, leather seats, sunroof, etc. Very happy repeat Honda customers.

  • This is a great every-day car - 2014 Honda Accord

everything I wanted - a coupe that rides like a sedan, trunk big enough for 3 golf bags, rear seat folds down to transport longer items, sun roof, seat warmers - love most everything except the paint is BAD - flakes off and chips easily, even in weird places (like around the rear window, inside the jams, etc.) If it werent for the paint just breaking my heart every time I look at it, I would love this car. the factory rep from honda was super nasty to me, and didnt even consider my claim. Not a good experience for my first brand-new car. I wont do it again.

  • Ugly rear - 2004 Honda Accord

The EX V6 with Navigation has everything I look for in a car. It has all the high tech features I need. However, Honda has still left it perhaps intentionally a step behind the Acura TL.

  • Accord, Sweet Looking Performance Car? - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

Who would have ever believed that Honda would make a sweet looking V6, 6 speed manual, Accord Coupe which comes very close to out performing so called performance cars costing tens of thousands more. The V6 coupled with the 6 speed manual shift is an absolute blast to drive. The engine pulls very strong and smooth all the way to red line with awesome acceleration for a "grocery getter". The factory handling set up and the stock tires dont seem adequate for the cars looks and drivetrain. However, with some reasonably priced aftermarket improvements this can be a sweet looking performance car at a bargain price!

  • From Hyundai to Honda - 2008 Honda Accord

This is my first Honda, and WOW! Traded in my elantra at 33 MPG but with the VCM in my new Coupe, I am getting 28.4 MPG on last fill up. Love the interior and the power and speed, but not hard to beat after what I had. Drove an Altima (3.5 V-6 coupe) and the accord was a major step up and less a price.

  • Not like the past three new hondas - 2004 Honda Accord

Fuel economy way below promised. Vibrates from the gas pedal up through the steering wheel but technicians cannot seem to find the problem. Strong sulfur smell from exhaust when window is open. Vibrates while at a stop in gear.

This car is amazing. Great comfort and technology as well. The front LEDs are wonderful looking, as well as the rear ones. AWESOME GAS MILEAGE!! I get an average of 38 mpg, and my 2013 Fusion got only an average of 34mpg! I highly recommend this over the Fusion..or any car!!!
