Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Good-looking, good-driving car for low $ - 2007 Honda Accord

For the $20,500 (+usual fees) I paid, this is a great car to look at (in Royal Blue Pearl) with a great engine and sporty handling. I only miss the manual AT shifter to make the experience complete. This is the "sweet spot" in the Accord line up, imo--you get the most car for the least value, but give up some of the bells & whistles. The ride is more sensitive to road imperfections because the suspension makes cornering and maneuvering much more fun than even the 1999 Passat I traded in.

  • Pleasantly Surprised! - 2006 Honda Accord

Been in the market for a car since my lease on the 2003 BMW 530i was coming up. With the gas prices where it was heading, didnt really want to drop a bundle on a car nor pay for the premium gas at the pump. Ive been very happy with the car for 3 years but felt it was time to be more practical. Looked at a Maxima, Avalon, Camry, and Accord. Finally decided on the Accord based on price, quality, reliability and practicality. I am so glad I went with the Accord. Saved about 3k with the comparably equipped 2007 Camry. I was concerned about going from a torquey German I6 to a Japanese four banger, but so far, I have been very happy with the car. I recommend this car to all in this segment. Nice

  • Honda lives up to its name - 2007 Honda Accord

This is my fouth Honda product, but my first new Honda purchase. Six months and almost 12k miles in the buy, I still love to drive the car. Theres no hint of interior or exterior fatigue, much less any sign of mechanical problems. Everything is precise and predictable from starting in the morning to the seams that run between every panel on the vehicle. The SE V6 is nothing but fun to drive. Theres plenty of torque and HP from the 6 shooter. This car has made Honda Motor Company very proud.

  • The Worst Car I have Ever Owned! - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

By far the worst automobile experience that I have ever had! The first month the from break callipers had to be changed -factory defective-, the third month the radio had to be changed with 6 CDs stuck in there that I never got back. And the worst, there are rattles feom every angle, I dread driving this car! I have stuffed the space under the dashboard with rugs (!!!) in roder to minimize it. Corporate HONDA Customer Service response: this is a massed produced car and you will have to leave with these little imperfections!!!! I regret greatly having departed from NISSAN!

  • Almost luxury and fun to drive car - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

I did not set out with the intention of buying a Honda Accord. I was looking for a luxury car for <$30K. I test-drove Maxima, Infiniti, Altima and then tried an Accord. Instantly I fell for an Accord, since I felt it was good value for the money. A luxury car for easily < $30K. Now that I have the car I really love driving it and the sweetest thing is the power and handling of the car... 240Hp rocks! I have a Camry also and I find the Accord more sporty than Camry. Ofcourse my Camry is an old one that shd not be compared to Accord!

  • What we wanted - 2001 Honda Accord
    By -

Absolutely love this vehicle, and coming from a bigger Explorer that had numerous maintenance problems, we find the Accord adequate for our needs. Two years and 20k later we are not dissapointed with this vehicle and we will buy another one without hesitation. Oil changes and tire rotations is all we have needed to do.
