Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Way to Go Honda! - 2003 Honda Accord

I swear by the reliability of a Honda. This is my 4th Honda, but my first Accord. I just purchased the EX V6-4dr Sedan and WOW! Ive been toying with purchasing the 2003 E320-Mercedes for months. When I saw the new Accords and checked out what you get for the price, my decision was made. I couldnt bring myself to pay 13k more just to get what I wanted. Once again Honda has proven that they deliver high quality for the price. WAY TO GO!

  • Safest investment of my life - 1997 Honda Accord

I bought my 1997 accord ex v6 used after I got my first real job. Its the only thing that i havent had to worry about since. Other than when I have run into things, I have had absolutely no problems

  • Gutless and boring - 1997 Honda Accord
    By -

I got this car because of its reputation for reliability and economy. I used to have a long commute and it was confortable and economic for that. But now my commute is only 5 miles. The car is very boring and wimpy with not guts and personality of its own, it looks like a Camry or like any other japanese car of the same vintage and class, just another me too car. The A/C smells bad, the auto transmission is rough.

  • According to Garp - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

Bought the 2008 Accord in July. Good running car. Good style and quality. Just did a round trip to Fla from MA. Comfortable ride no thanks to the comfort of the drivers seat!! Had to purchase an orthopedic back support for the driver side. It was worth the $100 bucks. Without it I was in pain! I suggest others complaining of same to purchase an orthopedic car back support to correct the problem.

  • Fun to Drive - 2009 Honda Accord
    By -

After Driving an SUV for the past 10 years I decided to go back to a sedan. My wife drives the Odyssey, and she fell in love with Honda, so did I. I looked at the BMW 328xi and thought I would purchase it after the test drive until I drove the Accord. The Accord was 13 thousand dollars less and that was for the top of the line EX-L with navigation. It look fantastic Im very happy to have two Hondas in the Driveway, especially with 3 kids safety and reliability made the Honda a no brainer.

  • Honda - where are you going with this - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

The car which does every thing right is getting wrong, build quality is down from last few generations. Lost the battery charging in just 3 hours of leaving the door open and radio on! The engine starts as if there is lot of load on it (4cl) - not a very peppy engine - I may be wrong here because all the time I have used Pontiac GTO, CTS, Impala 3.8, Maxima and Hondas V6. I wouldnt recommend this car due to the fact that the quality of build is not up to Hondas standards.

  • Rattles like a snake - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

I had in mind Id buy a Camry, Chrysler, or Honda. I bought the Honda after driving all three. The 240 HP makes it pretty fun. I also bought the Honda because I hate rattles. Quiet performance! Unfortunately, I have some rattles in the interior which are driving me crazy! (no pun intended) I plan to get them fixed, but Im a bit disappointed.

  • Dont Buy This Car - It Leaks! - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

This car is awful. I have had in the shop 4 times in 8 months for warranty issues. The design of the body style has allowed water to leak into the car. I have had the headliner replaced 3 times. Additionally the outer sils of the window delaminate and had to be reapired 3 times, before the manufacturer painted them. Also Honda Warranty service is rude and does not care about customer satisfaction and stated that since the leak occurs when parked on a hill to stop parking on a hill. This is the worst new car experience I have ever had.
