Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Hot car - 2004 Honda Accord
By NZKiwi - June 19 - 10:00 amSo far it is a dream come true. I wanted stick shift but none were available within a 700 mile radius (in white), so I have an automatic and am satisfied. Lots of neat, innovative features.

Incredible/Fun/Fast/Beautiful Car! - 2004 Honda Accord
By PaulyG - June 19 - 10:00 amI have been reintroduced to the pleasures of driving ever since I purchased my 2004 Accord. This car is powerful! Even after 5 months I am still surprised by its acceleration. Navigation, touch screen controls, XM radio and voice-controls are just incredible. I love driving again!

Best Car in Decades! - 2013 Honda Accord
By Ray Watters - June 19 - 5:34 amI was looking for a low price quality sedan and I certainly got it with the Accord! I bought it new mid-2013 and now have over 62,000 miles on it. The car handles well and is comfortable. If I were to post a negative, it would be the road noise, however, its not all that bad.

luxury and performance - 2005 Honda Accord
By new car owner - June 18 - 10:33 pmI had a Honda prelude for 5 years before buying the v6 accord 6speed. I thought I would loose some handling capability but this car is better in every respect. Its faster, quieter, roomier, and has more luxury stuff like climate control and heated seats. I checked my mileage and Im getting 27-28 mpg-pretty good for a car that zips 0-60 in under 6 sec. All I can say is that I am totally satisfied with this car-I can zip around or drive across the country and have the best of both worlds.

better than the 1st. - 2007 Honda Accord
By Trent C - June 17 - 9:06 pmThis is probably one of the best new cars on the market for the average household income. Finally a good car that most people can afford. My purchase was the SE V6 model that offers improvements over my previous 03 Nissan SE, except hp which ill be glad to make that trade. Road noice in the honda but thats because of the 17" tires that just about every-every- every manufacturer is going to. My 1st honda was a CRX when i was 15 years old and it had 13" tires, guess those days will never come back when you can buy a set of 4 good tires for $200! Should we call that progress?- guess we have no choice. Overall, my hat goes off for the makers of the 07 Honda SE. 5 speed tranny is a plus.

My Second Honda Accord - 1998 Honda Accord
By Ralph Lawrence - June 17 - 2:00 amThis is my second Honda Accord, having owned a 1985 Accord LX previously. This is an excellent car, and I plan to get another one in 2003. The only complaint, really, is the "pitch" of the steering wheel. It was slightly awkward in the 1985, and even with the tilt feature, still leaves something to be desired (Honda should check out the pivot tilt as used in General Motors cars). The "up and down" is not really a "tilt", just a height adjustment. Otherwise, I really prefer the Honda over any other car in its class.

Left GM for this! - 2005 Honda Accord
By Tony I. - June 16 - 5:06 amI hesitated in trading in my 2001 Impala LS instead of buying the 2005 LS since I was unwilling to part with the room and features of the Impala. The Accord provides ample room for my family, has all the features of the Impala LS except OnStar, (never used) driver information center, (mileage/fuel/compass) and automatic door locks. The Accords features are comparable or better than the VW Passat. And Accord has the V6 instead of the 1.8 4 cylinder like the Passat. The cost after negotiations on the Accord was much less than the price of the VW Passat. Plus, Honda Finance offers 1.9% finance out for 60 months (if you want that route) whereas VW would not.

Love the 6-speed ! Try one. - 2013 Honda Accord
By dougn4 - June 15 - 11:39 amLocating a 6-spd LX was a frustrating experience. If you want one, be persistent, and check dealer inventories on line. I love the smooth manual and engine combination. Our Accord offers a nice balance of comfort, quiet, MPG, performance, and modest cost. The ride is jittery, but it might be a price we pay for its truly crisp handling. Such things as adjustable lumber support should not be held hostage to another 2 grand for a "package", such things as power seats, moonroofs, and a silly useless spoiler. A few ergonomic glitches, detailed below

Keeps getting better - 2008 Honda Accord
By honda lover - June 12 - 8:50 amI have had my Accord for about a month now and I keep falling in love with it more and more. It has been a great car, and you cant beat it for the price. The nav system is amazing, bluetooth is very handy, and the styling is just perfect. However, the road noise is apparent, which i didnt really notice when we first got the car, but everything else makes up for it. This car is Front wheel drive, but you would never be able to tell by the steering. It is very smooth. If you are considering BMW and Mercedes, check this one out.
