Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Superior economy car! - 2005 Honda Accord

I just purchased the brand-spankin new LX Special Edition Coupe model w/ standard transmission yesterday. It is a true pleasure to drive compared to my previous Honda Civic EX. I like it even better than my wifes 2003 1.8T Jetta despite the slightly less overall HP at my disposal. The interior has all the little tweaks to it that were missing or non-existent on my Civic, and I dont think Ill be longing for a different car when this lease is up. The Accord is an EXCELLENT car for the price, performance, features, and most importantly: impeccable quality.

  • Great first Honda - 2006 Honda Accord

Both of my daughters own Accords and told me I could not go wrong. They were right. Traded an 05 Camry (was not happy with the way it drove) and am very glad I made the change. I really enjoy driving the Honda. The ride is great, it is rock solid on the highway at high speed, comfortable and much better looking than the Camry. Upgrades to the LX-V6 for 2006 are great - sunroof and 17" alloy wheels. New styling is also a big improvement on a previously good looking car.

  • Great Value For Ride, Price & Size - 2005 Honda Accord

Paid $ 17988.00 including destination end of 05 yr. THANK YOU Edmunds for posting the $750.00 roll back to dealer! Gas mileage is kicking in now. Nice drive around town -handles 75mph highway with no problem. Brakes are rated good for disc/drum set/up as well as turns. Road noise does not bother me. All and all this car is almost a #10 for its class.

Beautiful car, got one of the first cars at the dealer when they came out. Very happy with the car enjoy the ride and performance. I am having early wear on the brake, shimmy at 60 mph with 20K miles on the car. Possible design issue, dealer reviewing. Mileage is disappointing.

  • Matts Honda - 2001 Honda Accord

Excellent car from the start, if you buy a Honda Accord you gotta get a V-6 It gets up and goes nicely, great handling and brakings not bad either

  • Rides like a lowrider with no springs - 2004 Honda Accord

This has to be the roughest riding car I have ever driven. I own a 94 Accord that rides smoother than my new one. I give it an A+ for exterior styling. As for the interior, I have to give it a B only because of the radio which does not allow you to install an aftermarket radio without some serious mods to the dashboard.

  • Accord with Navigation - 2004 Honda Accord

Top quality! Well built and fun to drive. The navigation package and voice commands will take a awhile to learn. Voice commands are "a little touchy". If you dont speak it just right, you may get the wrong results. The GPS guidance is amazing! It gives you plenty of warning of upcoming turns / exits and its amazing how quickly it will re-calculate your route if you miss a turn. Not all minor roads or housing developments are mapped correctly, but the off-road guidance vector gives you a good pointer to your destination. You always know exactly where you are.

  • Sexiest Honda ever - 2009 Honda Accord
    By -

I wrote a full review about this car here on Epinions under the name Bigtruckseries. The Coupe is VERY sexy, very sporty and for less than $34,000 loaded, it gives a great sense of having more without having paid more. The seats are comfortable if you are a short person but the tall wont like it as much. The V6 is the best model, with plenty of ZIP for city cruising while the 190 HP I4 doesnt disappoint those with no need to speed. Good steering Bad body roll Plasticky interior The major downside is a cluttered center stack, poor user interface in the Navigation system and terrible voice controls that can accidentally change the temperature before doing what they should.

  • They dont make them like this anymore. - 1991 Honda Accord

Ive always maintained this car perfectly. That said, this is a car that doesnt complain. Except for airbags, it has everything you need - down to the very nicely placed coin holder to the left of the steering wheel. Not once, regardless of how cold or how hot the weather was, has this car not sprung to life the first time I turned the key. A wonderful vehicle.

  • Honda Accord Reliability - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

Being my first Honda and driving about 75-100 miles a day (Mon-Fri), this car definitely lives up to its reputation. I serviced my car every 5000 miles based on their program, and after 100,000 heres its history: 1) Factory tires (Michelins) lasted 70,000 miles. 2) Front brakes were replaced once. 3) Rear brakes were replaced twice (average 33000 miles). 4) Serpentine belt and tensioner arm were replaced at 100,666 miles. 5) Radio (6-disc CD) lost LCD display but still played. Vehicle had 56,000 miles and Honda replaced it free of charge (800.00 cost). I live in the Midwest, and depend heavily on a good reliable car. I would not hesitate to purchase another Honda Accord.
