Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Maybe A Lemon? - 2008 Honda Accord
By Matt - July 9 - 7:43 pmSince leasing my accord in Oct: 1: it broke down in December - had to replace the overhead cams, fuel injectors, battery and a few other things 2: in Feb I discover there is an oil leak 3: in Feb I feel a vibration when driving - have a rim & tire replaced and all tires balanced. Honda didnt have the specs to do a front end alignment and told me to wait 4: I meet with an arbitrator who then gets the car aligned - still vibrating 5: the car averages less then 20MPG in a good week. Sometimes as low as 17 6: Im waiting to see what goes next?

Hondas were better in 2000, behind in 2015 - 2015 Honda Accord
By cc - July 8 - 7:44 amMost buy Hondas and Toyotas for their reliability, as did I in 1991 and 2000 with two civics. However this 2015 Accord stopped in traffic (local) due to some kind of engine problem with my wife driving... less than 10k on the odometer, so the repairs were done by dealer. But day in and day out the ride comfort is really bothersome and dangerous: the rear suspension is too stiff without load, and too springy with 3 passengers. The rear transmits any sharp bumps on the road as an uncomfortable hit to the back. The comfort issue disappears when fully loaded with passengers, however driving at high speed on a toll road (241) at around 75mph, when the car drove over a gentle bump the car was almost airborne scaring all of us, but it maintained course.

Great value, great car! - 2005 Honda Accord
By Los Angeleno - July 7 - 8:23 amAfter looking at the 2005 Honda Accord, I checked out the CTS Caddy, the Toyota Camry, Acura TSX and a few others. The Accord gave best bang for the buck! Great car. Got the EX with leather and Nav, and now wouldnt get another car without a Nav system. I love it! Love the voice control, which controls not only nav feature but radio, air conditioning, XM radio, etc. Even tells you the time! Smooth ride, excellent finish, overall just a joy to ride.

Quality Car with the best value - 2006 Honda Accord
By sanaboys - July 6 - 11:46 amI have this car for about a week with Carbon Bronze and ivory leather that turn many heads on the road. The quality of this car is simply impeccable. The engine is smooth and full of power. You did not step much of the gas even with this four cylinders. With the value of this car, it is comparable to thousands more Accura but with 30+ MPG advangtage. I was originally on the market for a Camry but after inspecting 06 Accord. It was just a no brainer decision. Camry is simply too plain and not very exciting. With comparable equipment Camry, it costs about $2000 more with dealers attitude, which I do not know where that came from. Overall, you just can not go wrong with this car.

2004 Honda Accord Ex w/ Nav & XM Radio - 2004 Honda Accord
By USAONE - July 6 - 2:00 amOnly a few hundred miles and I can tell you that this is absolutely the best car I have ever owned. I was so against the four cylinder engine that I wasnt even going to look at it.One test drive with Fred at Weymouth Honda and I was convinced. Fred was right, the 4 cylinder was "plenty of power, after all,how fast do you really think you need to drive?" This car is incredibly nice, well put together and a ton of fun to drive. The XM radio is really nice, but Navigation is the best option you NEED to have. Buy one...go see Fred at Weymouth Honda and tell him I sent you! He was excellent! 781-337- 7400.

Paid Great Price - 2004 Honda Accord
By Stripe - July 6 - 2:00 amBought a 2004 EX V-6 Sedan painted white. White is the best color, for when you add makeup to the car, like a woman, she looks beautiful. The seating comfort is unreal--very comfortable. I also own a 1999 Accord V-6 Sedan, and it cant compare to my 2004. The V-6 power in the 2004 is unreal, especially when passing another vehicle on the highway. The gas mileage is even better then my 1999. However, Honda could have done a better job on the design. One more thing, when I start the car, it sounds like I am starting a 4 cyl. My 1999 sounds completely different.

Surprised at Honda!! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Gulf - July 6 - 2:00 amI have just had this Honda Accord for 6 weeks. I first noticed the dashboard got extremely hot when the air condition and cd/radio was on.I was told it is normal. It does not start at the first turn of the key at all tmes. Alarms have gone off 2 times. NO screen over the front to protect the condenser etc. Brakes pulsate at times.
