Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Overall, I love the accord, it drives and handles very well, I love the interior as well as the exterior look. However, I am concerned about the brake issue because there seems to be no recall related to this. It would be a shame for an issue like this to destroy the reputation of such a wonderful company known for reliability, dependability, and low cost of ownership. Obviously having to replace your brake pads so frequently can become very expensive very soon. How unfortunate.

This is our 5th Accord in the past 15 years and by far and away the best! As comfortable as my wifes Avalon but $5000 less and much more fun to drive. Less road noise, better stereo, and fabulous leather interior! Fantastic curb appeal with appearance resembling BMW.More head and hip room in front than the Avalon. We were planning on waiting until the spring to buy, but after driving this dream car we bought it at the end of the month. After you test drive the 08 Accord you will understand our enthusiasm!

Ive been GM man for 40 yrs. My wife and I decided to take the jump to Honda. What a great car, the workmanship inside and out is superb. I was amazed at the performance of the 4cyl engine, great pick-up and great fuel economy. Id advise those people who are uneasy about buying other than from the Big 3 auto makers to take the step to Honda, you will not regret it.

  • My Favorite Accord - 2006 Honda Accord

I just traded in my 2004 CRV to get the new 2006 Accord LX. I have never loved a car like this one. It is a sheer pleasure to drive, the quality of the fit and finish is so great. I have been averaging around 26 mpg in the city with the air on in Las Vegas. I really love the new design of the back of the car. The car rides so quiet and it handles like a sports car. This is my second Accord and this is hands down the most fun to drive, even with the 4 cylinder. The instrumentation is clean and beautifully lit. This is the first car I have ever bought where there is absolutely no buyer remorse on any level.

  • Very much in Accord... - 1990 Honda Accord

As most Accord owners will tell you, these cars keep going, and going...Ive had no serious problems with it. The only costly repair was the replacement of its radio antenna. The motor that controls the retraction and upward mobility of the antenna wore down after about 9 years of constant use. Fixing that was costly. Im tempted to see if I can keep this car another 10 years, but at the same time, I really want to get a hybrid car with double the gas mileage. It will be hard to part with my Accord, though, and Ill always have fond memories of it.

  • I love it - 2005 Honda Accord

I purchased my car a couple of weeks ago (12/20/2004). Im only 24 and this is my 2nd car so I have not had that much experience in driving other cars. But after owning a civic, the accord is just no comparison. I love everything about it. Interior design is great, and its fun to drive. However I do not like how they designed the back of the accord but its still a great car.

  • Tough to beat - 2008 Honda Accord

Not as quiet as a Lexus, but quiet enough. Not as cushy as a Lexus, but cushy enough. Not as fast as a 6cyl Lexus, but fast enough. Not as many bells and whistles as a Lexus, but plenty enough. But, almost $20,000 less, and that is very good enough. For the money, there is no better family sedan on the market. Most features are standard, and close enough to a luxury car, but for a lot less money. 15,000 miles in 6 months, and no problems to report.

  • Love my Honda - 2003 Honda Accord

Test drove 2002 looking for a deal, then made the mistake of test driving the O3. Unless you are ready to buy dont do it, because you will fall in love with it. From the Comfy seats to the nice interior design and room it all makes sense. I did notice that I had some rattles that I couldnt find, but probably just a new car settling in. Also, the brakes squeek, but hey its vegas (dry and dusty). I do like the radio, but I dont like the antenna (stations fade in and out).

  • Almost Perfect - 2003 Honda Accord

The only thing that kept me from buying a 2002 Accord was the styling but when the 2003s came out. WOW! It has the looks of a more expensive car. But here is a shocker, after 5 days the steering rack needed replacing! After only 5 days! A Honda! Well I was very satisfied with the service and the car has had no problems since. Even Honda can have an occasional defective part. Everything else is great except the ride quality. It seems a little harsh the way it takes bumps in the road. This was typical of previous year Accords. I was hoping they had improved that. But overall I know I will get over 150,000 with minimal problems
