Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Greatest Car EVER!!! - 2003 Honda Accord
By MJKSKDB - August 18 - 2:00 amWell I have the 4 cyl. and was going to get the V6 but just as happy! This 4 cyl v-tech engine comes with 160 HP. If you want your accord to look even better put some 18" racing rims on it, looks beatiful. I have had people roll down there window and yell to me nice car. If your looking for a reliable and fun and great car to drive get the honda accord!!! HANDLES TURNS GREAT

Amazing! - 2002 Honda Accord
By la_phuk - August 16 - 10:00 amI had never owned a Honda until March of 2002, and I am amazed every day with it. It handles beautifully, it is very comfortable, and it sure can take a hit. I had this brand new car for three weeks when a drunken kid rear- ended me at a red light. I was completely stopped, and he hit me at 40- 45 mph. His 90 Accord was totalled, but my bumper was just split open- not even smashed in. Not a bit of internal damage was done.

keeps going and going.... - 1993 Honda Accord
By Tonym - August 16 - 10:00 amIve had this car for about 4 years now and have had to make no repairs outside of standard maintanence. This honda is by far the most reliable car Ive owned. While the ride is reasonably peppy, the styling is pretty sedate and I cant say I find the car particularly exciting. I have no doubt that it will last as long as I want it to though -- great buy and Ive never once been sorry for the purchase. --left passenger automatic window sticks a bit but still works. --Some groans and squeaks at cruising speed.

Knocking Noise - 2007 Honda Accord
By zhang - August 16 - 12:46 amLast October, I was excited to buy this car because I trust Hondas quality. Unfortunately, it is not true. One month after the purchase, I feel that the transmission hesitates when accelerating. Three months later, I always hear a KNOCKING NOISE coming from the front of the DRIVER SIDE whenever I stop or lightly accelerate. This made me very nervous. Now, it is even more trouble. One day, when I tried to break at a sharp turn at about 30 MPH, I could feel that the break suddenly stuck for a very short time. Does anybody have an idea? This makes me very nervous. I am considering trade in the car if the break keeps sticking when taking sharp turn.

Great all around car - 2008 Honda Accord
By Juan - August 15 - 5:46 amIve had this car for about 5 months now and its a pretty nice car. It has decent speed with a really smooth motor. I dont really feel the VCM kicking in for the most part, so I really dont mind it. Gas mileage has been a bit disappointing, but it has been improving. Ive averaged about 23.5 mpg, but was expecting much better with the VCM technology. Ride and handling are great. Im still getting use to the "bigness" of this vehicle as I still sometimes feel like it is just too big for a coupe. Nav has been very useful, but at times has trouble finding everyday stuff like a Costco. Overall Im pretty satisfied with the vehicle.

Please forgive me! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Darrin in Dallas - August 13 - 10:20 amI took a risk three years back and bought outside the Japanese auto brands. I know, bad idea. Having owned Hondas or Toyotas my entire life,(three accords in a row) my wife and I wanted to try something different. The Volvo S60 didnÂ’t have a chance and after replacing half the car during the first three years,(I knew the service team by first name) I wished Id kepted my old Accord. I wont try that again! I am so pleased with my 2004 Accord EX, I think itÂ’s the best car for your dollar.

My RattleTrap - 2003 Honda Accord
By davo - August 12 - 2:00 amI have owned the car for about 10 months now and the interior trim is starting to loosen up. I have squeeks at the top of both front doors, two rattles deep inside the dash, the headliner above the driver sunvisor has a very disconcerting "crack" sound when its cold. Their is a rattle somewhere on the rear shelf. The most annoying rattle of all is in the center console. The console has already been replaced once but a new rattle has appeared and it is highly annoying!!! The front rotors warped at 4k and are warped again at almost 11k!!! The passenger side airbag cover is warping. The rear bumper is discolored as well (satin silver is the vehicles color).
