Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Im not so sure - 2007 Honda Accord
By mike112 - September 21 - 7:10 pmWell, this supposed to be nice car with navi and v6. Well, the body is kinda weak, gets dents easily, paint chips, and brake and tires arent so good for what I paid. Even though it is Honda, they should improve on those categories. I bought Honda for quality, but now their quality is getting poor. The seat is kinda uncomfortable compare to TL-S 2003, and compare to VOLVO T60 which I had. Also one of my dim lights is not working.

Navigation system is very slow - 2014 Honda Accord
By D. Huynh - September 21 - 11:48 amI noticed the built in navigation system is quite a bit slow compare to the stand-alone unit. The display is confusing when you get to the intersection. Worst is when I got to a stop sign, the display just froze because it needed more time (probably about 10 seconds or more) to figure it out and to update the display. I couldnt just stop there and waited until the display is update. I got lost 3 times in a trip and waste about 15 minutes because I had to turn around. The system is good if you travel in high-ways or big roads, when you got into small roads that is when it got screw-up. Even on the high-way, a few times, the exit display gets update just as you got very close or passed the exit! You dont have time to react. The problem I think is the system is TOO SLOW and perhaps the software needs to be update. The conclusion is this system is unsafe (you need to spend more time to figure thing out or you have to make a quick move to get into the right exit), waste your time and gas because you have to turn around. If I have to give it a grade, it would be between a D and an F

Terrible Fuel Economy - 2009 Honda Accord
By deported - September 21 - 3:20 amTraded in my gas guzzling V8 BMW when fuel prices spiked. I expected better fuel mileage with the 4-cylinder. Only getting about 19-20mpg driving like a grandma. Not the most exciting car but very comfortable leather. Ive talked with other 4-cylinder owners who complain about fuel economy. The 4-cyl just isnt beefy enough to pull the weight of this car. Go for the V6 or get a different car.

Comparing 06 Accord to 07 Camry - 2006 Honda Accord
By Shane - September 18 - 1:10 pmFirst Honda purchase with a 06 LX SE. Looked extensively at 07 Camry and decided on Honda primarily due to interior and cost. Driven for 1k miles so far and really like the car; however, ride comfort and road noise are less than acceptable and no comparison to Camry. I am quite shocked at the ride quality. Good value for the money, but would encourage Camry if the ride quality is important.

Now over 500,000 km - 2003 Honda Accord
By Tee Bee - September 17 - 6:06 pmPurchased this car new, my first new car, and have enjoyed it immensely. Now at over 345,000 miles, it rides smooth (original struts, joints, CV, links all original), still get over 32 mpg, auto transmission shifts like new, AC blows cold, heater cranks out heat, all doors, hood, trunk lid function fit-perfect. Leather interior wears excellent, no repairs, and carpeting is in fine shape. All brake rotors are factory original. I have replaced only one rear caliper. This is probably the best car ever made in USA. I do all of my own maintenance.

A disappointing purchase - 2009 Honda Accord
By violin8 - September 17 - 11:20 amI bought the 2009 as my 5th Honda accord, and couldnt be sorrier. My previous ones were excellent, so I didnt pay as much attention as I should have to this model. After 40 min. the seat is so uncomfortable, I have to get out and give myself a break. It feels like concrete inside it. The road noise on trips is unbelievable. I really miss my 2003 accord and regret trading up to this model.

SE Coupe - 2002 Honda Accord
By StephB - September 17 - 10:00 amThis is my second Honda. I started with a 99 civic vp and decided to upgrade to an accord. All of the bells and whistles I wanted. Also less road noise than my civic. Although not as much vroom as a v-6, definately more ooomph than the civic. Ive had my new accord since April and Im very happy with what Ive gotten for what Im paying. Only disappointment is that I could not hold out till the 2003 model came out.

1 year later... - 2003 Honda Accord
By Conner* - September 13 - 10:00 amIts been a year since Ive posted a review on my Accord, and well, I am still very satisfied. Being a Sophmore in high school with wants to have the fastest car a 4 cyl. just doesnt fill my appetite, but since I am buying it from my parents for a GREAT price, with only 25,000 miles, I am ecstatic to get this car. I have had a great time driving this car. I have some minor issues with it but the dealer is great and I love the fit and finish of the car.
