Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

honda to hyundai to honda - 2016 Honda Accord
By socalcurl - October 17 - 12:36 amBefore buying this car, you need to put into perspective what size the engine is and what your realistic expectations are for that car. (Ive had 8,6 and 4 cyl. cars) Then think about the tires, if you get 19" tires you have less sidewall/absorption and you will feel more bumps on the road. Now for my review...This sedan handles very well for a mid-size car and Im talking about suspension over bumps, cracks, pot-holes, crowned roads, steering, cornering, stopping, turning radius etc. For 185hp, it accelerates beautifully when merging and changing lanes. The transmission doesnt kick, skip, hesitate etc. when Im slowing, coming to a complete stop, or accelerating like the 2015 Chrystler 200 that I rented. That was scary as I am sensitive to odd engine/transmission noises. The seats are ok and I havent driven the car over 800 miles so I cant make a fair assessment but I can say that the lumbar support is my favorite in a drivers seat. WOW, the led fog lights really light up the road, love em. When I opened the door, the first thing I noticed was the trim, its very classy and pleasing to me. Then the leather trim with fabric seats was a good decision that makes us EX owners feel good about having some leather ;). I had leather before and I liked that I could clean it easily. It has plenty of room for elbows and arms, which is important and the back passenger can have comfort as well. Another thing I coveted were rear vents, and when I sat in my new car that was an awesome surprise! Bluetooth sound is clear, no "huh, what did you say?" in my convos while I drive. The Carplay is an excellent idea because you dont need to wonder about who texted you or where your phone is. Does that make sense? Oh and the lanewatch, I really like that idea, sometimes theres too much going on and I forget to re-re check, so its a nice plus. Im still exploring the car and so far Im enjoying it day by day. The radio has good sound and Im glad I have the tweeters, which I noticed were not in the Sport or LX. I gotta hear my BPM.

Good family car to own - 2001 Honda Accord
By Jeremy - October 14 - 1:13 pmAll I can say is that I am very pleased with my Honda experience. Back in 2001, I traded in my 1990 Honda Accord EX for their latest model Accord EX-V6. I had some problems with my 1990, but mainly because I was taking my car to poor garages. Anyway, Ive had nothing but success with my 2001. I purchased the extended 100,000 mile warranty, but so far, no problems. Replaced the tires at about 46,000 miles with new Bridgestone Turanzas; they swapped out the 6-CD changer because the laser started skipping, but no mechanical problems so far. I have to replace the rotors soon because I like to slam on the brakes in traffic a lot. I guess Im somewhat of an aggressive driver. Great ride!

2018 Accord EX-L and Touring 1.5 CVT - Test Drive. - 2018 Honda Accord
By JimmyL - October 14 - 12:16 amI was a little disappointed in the 2018 Accords. . I own a 2015 Accord EX-L and anticipated on upgrading to a 2018 upper trim model. I test drove both the Touring and EX-L. In short I found the EX-L to handle better and less noisier. I am a light footed driver and turbo lag was felt in both trims: And, a little less in the EX-L. Yes the new Accords are quicker but the turbo lag was a no no for me. Also, the initial takeoff sound of the turbo engine/ CVT was louder than I expected. Other observations. . In ECO mode the A/C did not work in either trim. In normal mode the A/C was not as cold as my 2015 model. Also, not including the Heads Up Display in a EX-L Navi is a big mistake especially charging $1000 extra for navigation. Sorry to say the 10th Gen Accord did not win me over. I am a Honda fan and I will keep my 2015 until something better comes along. . .

Great Car - New and Improved Version - 2017 Honda Accord
By Diane James - October 12 - 11:13 amThis Accord has a smoother ride since the tires are 16" instead of 15" that were on my 2006 Accord. It sold me on it during the test drive. The 2017 Accord is a new, improved version of the 2006 model. The interior has been updated and the styling is much more attractive. It came in a pearl white which I love. Over all, it is very nice. I love it!

Simply the best bang for your buck! - 1998 Honda Accord
By freddiemac - October 12 - 10:00 amOver 5 years now and absolutely zero problems (not that I expected any). Just change the gas, oil, and take it in for routine maintenance and it goes and goes. The steering seems just as tight as when it was new. and I really dont know what more you could ask for from a V4. The interior, exterior, and performance have not lost a beat from the day it rolled off the lot. I could not recommend another car more enthusiastically.

A Benchmark - 1998 Honda Accord
By Adam0331 - October 12 - 10:00 amBought it as a returned lease vehicle namely going off Hondas reputation and havent been dissapointed. Other than fixing the front wheel bearings (previous owner abuse problem) the car has been 100%. Would like a more sporty version w/4 doors. Looking to upgrade to the Acura TL Type S.

90 Day Review - 2003 Honda Accord
By Boo Boo - October 12 - 10:00 amThis is my 3rd honda and the best of the three. Like the power, and gadgets. In fact, just about every time i drive it, i discover something new...like the sliding adjustable armrest, and features on the Navigation system...i really enjoy the nav. Exterior could be a bit better, something is missing (style) on the front end.
