Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Great car! - 1993 Honda Accord
By Honda lover - October 22 - 2:00 amBought a 93 Accord SE sedan in April, 2002 with 90K miles on it. It now has 101K and rides and looks great! And the resale value is unreal. Think hard before you buy another American car! This one should last a long time.

My Honda - 2002 Honda Accord
By phkawa - October 22 - 2:00 amIt only has a little over 3000 miles, ut seems to be a tarke for people. People on cell phones have run into me 3 times. Last time was in a parking lot at a stand alone Walreens. Her 1992 just suffered some Teal colored paint to her back bumper, but she almost deployed my right & left side air bag as she knocked me so hard. Moral is Dont Talk & Drive. I choose Honda after My daughter had totaled one & all 5 kids inside were buckled in & although the car was totalled the kids were all fine!

Whats with the tire noise? AVOID HONDA Sport SE - 2017 Honda Accord
By PRCOTTAGEFORSALE - October 21 - 9:19 amThe tires are designed to rub against a brake pad protector of some sort, which produces a loud noise that is very annoying. Honda now says it was designed into the car, after I brought the car in for repair 5 times. I think Honda is full of it and not standing behind its cars. Who designs a car to have $1,000 tires rub? How do you say that with a straight face? STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAR AND SO FAR HONDA is LEAVING MYSELF AND DEALERSHIP OUT TO DRY. I am not only appalled at the way Honda is handling this but insulted by the fact that we are suppose to read fine print in the specs now to avoid this from happening to you! THE TIRES ARE NOT DESIGNED FOR THIS CAR, THEY ARE SIMPLY TOO BIG FOR THE FRONT END. ADMOIT IT HONDA, YOU PIT 19 INCH TIRES ON A FRINT END THAT CAN ONLY HANDLE 17 INCH WHEELS.

Caveat Emptor, Nice People - 1996 Honda Accord
By Foster - October 21 - 2:00 amMy experience with the 1996 Accord could have been worse. It is quite well- made the seats are comfortable and the controls are well-placed. Rear visibility is fairly bad, however, and exhaust system problems have plagued the car since my purchase. Acceleration with the base SOHC engine is acceptable for normal driving, but highway merges on short onramps are unpleasant. Again, though, the car could be much worse.

T-Bones Car - 1990 Honda Accord
By T-Bone75 - October 20 - 2:00 amMy mom passed away a few years ago. We have had our 90 Accord LX Coupe since it was new. It was our famiys car, since then I have turned 16, and now it is mine. The car is in incredible condition. The paint still shines, although it has gotten a few scratches, from yearly wear. The interior looks like it just came from the factory. When you take care of, and garage a car you can keep them very nice.

Great Choice - 2005 Honda Accord
By autonutt - October 19 - 9:16 pmWe like the secure handling, comfortable highway ride and reserve power when needed. With full load of luggage and passengers, the car handles very well and provides excellant gas mileage. A/C, sound and convenience features are fine. Sloping hood seems to invite stone chips and one minor rattle in the passenger door are only problems so far.

Best value for the price. - 2006 Honda Accord
By jimh70458 - October 18 - 3:33 amI looked at the Sonata, Camry (07), Passat, and Mazda 6 before deciding on the Accord LX SE. Although some had more equipment for the money, they all lacked in either quality, fit, finish, ride, performance, or road noise. In fact, I was really surprised when Hondas 4cyl out performed most of the of the competitors 6cyl models. This given, that fuel economy is pretty close to EPA estimates. With 80% of my miles being in town, I am getting right at 26 MPG. My only problem so far is getting used to driving a manual again. The engine is so quiet that I sometimes forget to shift. Although this is my first experience with Honda they have certainly earned my respect and future business.

Best OLD car Ive ever owned! - 1993 Honda Accord
By cheeze_head - October 18 - 2:00 amI bought this 6 year-old from a dealership back in 1999 w/ 43K miles on it. Now, its at 85K. Got a great deal with my 91 Accord EX trade-in. Ever since, I just love the car. Got all the features that most cars today dont have as standard...e.g. leather, Bose, dual airbags, ABS, moonroof, CD- changer, etc...Had no mechanical problems except the "MAIN RELAY --> NO START" problem. But I fixed that. Gives great gas mileage on the freeway, performs well, especially with strut- bar. I still think this is Hondas best built car.

Great Factory Stereo , Great 1st Car!!! - 1993 Honda Accord
By Chad C - October 18 - 2:00 amI bought the car in Plano, TX of April 2001. I bought it off this guy who said a customer of his had abandoned it. 1993 Accord EX Sedan, Black w/ Beige Leather, Sunroof, Factory Alarm, Factory Alloys, Factory AM/FM/CD/Cass Stereo. When I bought the car, the radio had to be programmed because the battery had been disconnected. So for about 8 months, i used nothing but the CD player, and it has just recently began to skip and deteriorate. Oh well, it has a very, very nice sound system for factory speckers. The leather on the door panels is slowly coming loose, showing the original beige cloth in the door insert.
