Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

new lights old car - 2017 Honda Accord
By jhid123 - November 1 - 5:55 amI think it is time for real redesign, 2017 Accord is in reality 2013 Accord with poor quality materials that Honda started using two years ago. They just replaced front and rear lights, added some chrome details and call it newly redesigned... In general the car is OK, all the options are the same, as other cars in this price range, if you did not have Honda before you would not notice the difference. Back in 2015 Honda changed seats and its material, so in 2017 it is the same uncomfortable seats, they dont care about multiple complains, all over the internet, about driver seat comfort. 2017 got one more issue comparing to previous years: phone link is horrible. You can change phone setting hundred of times but it will not copy your address book. It displays message and claiming that it is been copied, but nothing is happening in reality. The same problem with text messages, your car will not react to text (no notification) and will not read them as previous one use to do. Honda is claiming new sporty look, but downgraded tires to Firestone Affinity (they use to install them on cheaper Civic). How can you have "nice ride" with such a horrible tires. One good think about those tires is fuel efficiency, but road handling is below average. Every day I see a lot of people driving Accord around me, so I assume the price is right for such a quality.

Excellent, but... - 2010 Honda Accord
By dimitrir - October 31 - 10:06 pmThis review is based on 4 days of ownership and 300 miles. The most impressive feature is the handling. I have a 2007 Acura Tl and the Accord handles much better! Big surprise. Engine is extremely smooth and powerful. Build quality is excellent. Road (tire) noise quite pronounced. This is the worst feature. If road noise bothers you consider this car carefully. No glove compartment light and no courtesy light -I am fighting with Honda about the latter because I dont believe that this is possible.

Honda is overrated - 2004 Honda Accord
By TNSpike - October 31 - 10:00 amPower seat slid and the Dealer advised this couldnt be fixed! Also, XM radio display was poor. No automatic Power Locks!!! Fun to drive, but had a slight hesitation when acceralating.

Love my Honda - 2004 Honda Accord
By missq1111 - October 31 - 10:00 amLove it! The only thing I would change is the moonroof controls. The passager needs to have access also. The door locks. Passager again cant do much. The seat heater are to easy to hit by mistake, need thing you know you have a hot bottom and it 90 degrees out side. Love the back seat being able to lie down and use for larger cargo. Love the quite ride. Seems like a big car inside even tho it not. A dream to ride around and view the world around us. Nice big windows. Easy to see when backing up. Never thought we would buy a Honda but sure glad we did. Its jus right for us. Its a keeper!!

SO SO sad to say goodbye... - 1996 Honda Accord
By Lori O - October 30 - 2:00 amI bought this car as a 25th b-day to myself new and yesterday we traded it in for a later model Accord. I didnt realize how great it was till it was time to say goodbye... I never had a problem with it, my only complaint was that I didnt think it was great in the rain (tended to hydroplane, maybe it was the manual transmission...) and felt the brakes werent as powerful as they couldve been. We were looking at other cars, but realized you can NEVER NEVER go wrong w/a Honda!!! The only day it didnt start was when it needed a new battery (74K miles)!!!

SOLID, RELIABLE W/STYLE - 1996 Honda Accord
By HUGH - October 30 - 2:00 amMy car has 120,000 miles on it. I have had routine maintenance, changed the timing belt and had 1 tune-up. I use all honda parts. I run w/synthetic oil, but I plan on owning this for another 120,000 miles. This car runs great, smooth, quiet, reliable and peppy. Ill go honda again.

I love the hondas! - 1993 Honda Accord
By mikey4470 - October 29 - 2:00 amBecause of my history with my last accord and because of the reputation of Hondas in general I decided to stick with Honda for my next car. I think i got a good deal on it, i paid 5,400 from a dealer and the car has 119,000 miles on it. The dealer also put a new paintjob on it, replaced the timing belt/water pump, and about $600 in other improvements. The interior is perfect. My car also came with a kick- butt stereo system which included 2 10" subs and a graphic equilizer! I am very happy with my purchase and will stay loyal to hondas no doubt! An absolute pleasure to drive!

Great Car! - 1993 Honda Accord
By HonDaLuVeR - October 23 - 2:00 amI love this car! Looks good, runs smooth, good mileage... Ive had the car for about 6 months now and Ive had people making me offers for more than what I paid for her. I see a LOT of 3rd and 4th gen accords on the road where I live so I know shell probably last a while. The factory stereo and speakers dont sound too hot but once you put a nice system in there shes perfect.

Still running - 1993 Honda Accord
By Terr0rt0telc0 - October 22 - 2:00 amOverall good experience with this car I bought it at 50000 miles and i have it now up to 130000. I went through 3 starters hhhmmm oh well still have another problem now but it is ok. This would have cost me more if I had not done all the work myself alot more. Good handeling except for the strut towers going bad mainly the right starts making bed spring noises. another possible thing brakes can go out the bolt that is on the box that has the brake fluid not the one under the hood bolt can come out a bit and the fluid bleeds everywhere then fun bleed the brakes time.
