Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

dependability in a honda accord - 2000 Honda Accord
By glhodges - November 5 - 2:00 ammy loyalty goes to honda, it has proven to be the most reliable car I have ever owned (besides the civic) a true value when considering dependability vs. $$$$ at 120K miles still runing strong , only had to replace battery, and rotors, still have original timing belt although recomended to replace @105K miles. excelent interior & exterior intergrety .reliability a great plus for single parents, students , and single females who dont own stock in repair shops and those who do not like to throw away money in cheep disposable cars and/or parts .

Great Car - 2008 Honda Accord
By Don Clark - November 4 - 10:23 pmI have had the car 6 month and taken 2 long distance trips. Overall, the car is great. I have has numerous other Hondas and this one is at the toip of the list. I traded an 05 Acura TL for the gas mileage savings. While the Accord is no Acura it is a close relative in terms of quality and comfort. I am averaging 24-25 MPH in town and get close to 32 on the highway. I miss my Acura, but the Accord is a good substitute.

Honda has set the bar high! - 2016 Honda Accord
By Matt - November 4 - 12:14 pmIll keep this short and highlight what I love and what I dont. 1. This car is surprisingly quick, yet capable of 34+ mpg on the highway. Ive even seen 35+ if I keep my speed around 65mph 2. Beautiful car. I will freely admit that previous versions of the Accord look like grandma cars. Not this one though. Very, very sharp. Im not a huge fan of the Acura-looking grill, but it doesnt take anything away from the package. 3. Very comfortable seats, well laid out interior, tons of technology and safety options. Some flaws - the stereo system in the top of the line model should be MUCH better than what it is. Very unimpressed with it thusfar. Just poor sound all around; the sound quality Id expect in a $20K automobile. Ive actually considered replacing all the speakers with aftermarket options. 4. The cylinder deactivation provides a huge boost in gas mileage on the highway, but occasionally have some odd pedal feedback when my foot is lightly on the gas. It also, as expected, makes the car a bit unresponsive - especially on hills. 5. Some of the safety features like lane-departure and collision avoidance are bit on the annoying side. I actually shut off the lane-departure system. Navigation, carplay, etc are all great options, although the dual-screen arrangement seems redundant. Paddle shifters, or a manual mode for the transmission would be a nice plus on the V-6 model. Guess you have to buy an overpriced Acura for that though. 6. The drivers side mirror needs better blind-spot notification - for now, its a modified view on the side mirror, while the passenger side has a camera. WTH? Just put sensors on both sides? The camera is a nice addition though. Again, probably something to separate the Honda from the Acura.. All things considered, this is a great car. Very quick, agile, and beautiful to look at. The low spot is the stereo and the rather unresponsive engine once cylinder deactivation kicks in. I give it 8.5 stars out of 10.

Extremely Reliable Car - 2004 Honda Accord
By TiderInsider - November 4 - 7:43 amThis car is superb. Absolutely no problems. Has 27,000 miles in 18 months and no problems. I get 35-38 m.p.g. on highway and >25 in town. American car makers are in big trouble trying to compete with Honda and Toyota.

Good Car but lousy stereo and too much wind noise - 2013 Honda Accord
By denslayer - November 3 - 11:44 pmI like driving this car but its the small things that tend to make a difference . First the so called " premium" sound system sounds Horiible . I dont know how you can mess up 7 speakers with a sub but honda has . To make matters worse the active noise cancelation feature makes it near impossible to upgrade . The wind noise coming from the driver and passenger windows . It literally sounds like your window is open a crack. Honda has a TSB about the wind issues but the dealers are cluless on how to fix it. Internet forums have pages upon pages of people complaining about these same issues . Do your research and drive your car at freeway speeds and bring your fav cd with you

Good Engine, Bad Electronics - 2003 Honda Accord
By aIce - November 1 - 6:53 pmThe car drives like a charm. Even with automatic transmission is has quite a kick, even at 70 mph. The only disappointing part is the ever failing electrical parts (alarm, radio, window engine, car seat power engine, door lock).
