Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Cant Beat It - 1995 Honda Accord
By JKJ - December 12 - 2:00 amThis is the best car I have ever owned and I have had at least 15 cars. Bought the car new in Nov. 1995 and drove it 7 years. The car has 115K miles on it and runs like new. After 7 years total - only major (I guess its major for a Honda) maintenance items are the timing belt, cv axles, and front brakes - Nothing Else in 7 years!!!! You see why I love this car. Just sold it to my step-daughter and she will put the next 115K miles on it. This my second Honda (first was a civic) and I am sold on Honda.

I "upgraded" from an Acura - 2006 Honda Accord
By TedG954 - December 10 - 4:53 pmIn 2000, I bought a new Acura TL. In 2003, I bought a new Acura CL Type S. After 5 transmissions, I bought an 06 Accord. It was a very wise decision. The Honda quality is legend, and in my case, it has lived up to its acclaim. The 2.4 engine is surprisingly quick and responsive. Handling is superb. Dollar for dollar is a "best buy" as far as Im concerned. I wanted something that was reliable, and the Honda line is known for reliablility. I went from an average 14 mpg of hi-test in the Acura to an average of 22 mpg of regular with the Accord, and as I said the 100 missing horses is not apparent. A great quiet ride and a comfortable interior with plenty of room. You cant go wrong. Buy it!

Nice car - 2006 Honda Accord
By Bill - December 9 - 2:20 pmI have driven Accords for 25 years (81 DX for 12 years, 93 EX for 13 years). After looking at what was available in the market this year that met my needs (reliable, safe, comfortable, fun), I decided on the Honda Accord. This is a fun car to drive. I hope it goes the distance like its predecessors.

The V-6 Vibrator--Dont Buy! - 2013 Honda Accord
By frogee - December 9 - 12:11 amAfter five months with the extremely annoying vibration from my Accord, I traded it on a 2010 Infiniti G37, taking a big financial hit. Honda says the vibration is "normal", as in normal for a 3-cylinder car, that is. Unfortunately, this condition was not apparent on the test drive, so be forewarned if you are considering purchasing the V-6. Variable Cylinder Management may yield very good MPG, but at the expense of a terrible drive experience. I have requested compensation from American Honda, but am not optimistic.

Honda EX V6 2004 - 2004 Honda Accord
By JohnnyC - December 7 - 10:00 amIf I were an american manufacturer, I would be very concerned with the quality of the foreign competition at this price level. The quality of this vehicle is just as nice as many other vehicles costing 3- 10 thousand more. A real winner.

2008 Accord EXP - 2008 Honda Accord
By Rob R - December 7 - 12:00 amI just turned in my 05 Malibu for the Accord and what a major difference, should of gotten the 05 Accord when I had the chance. Ride is excellent and secure, power is good. One thing I will say to everyone who gets a car: do your home work. If you had read some of the car or consumer report write ups about the car a lot of your concerns I was reading about would have been answered, i.e. poor gas mileage look close at your window sticker not the big mpg numbers but the ratings below, it tells you that you could get 17 mpg based on your driving habits. Next time you take a new car for a ride tell the sales man not to say a word and keep the radio off and find a road that needs work to drive on.

Not exactly a sports car, but a Grand Coupe withV6 - 2011 Honda Accord
By louspag@msn.com - December 5 - 1:31 pmWith the V6, the EX-L Coupe is more Acura than Honda. Ive owned 2 BMWs, and Im used to a "drivers car". Handling-wise, this is no BMW, but power-wise, the V^ certainly does not disappoint. This car is tops for reliability and reasonable dealer service fees. It is also a super safe vehicle. I bought this one after being rear ended and run over by a Mack truck in a 2008 Honda EX-L V6. No, its not as fun as a BMW, but if you want a nice looking vehicle that is somewhat fun to drive, go for the V6.

4-Door Accord EX 6speed manual -Part II - 2013 Honda Accord
By beanctr - December 5 - 12:46 amWith 4,000 miles on my Accord, heres an update to my original post. Continue to be impressed with the power and fuel economy this 4 cylinder puts out; although, at times I do miss my prior 6 cyclinder car that had an additional 75 hp. The manual transmission is a joy to operate with short throws and well defined gates. Noticed a few quality issues such as the front defroster vent at the base of the windshield pulling up. Cost cutting is evident on the OE carpeted floor mats. They have a REALLY cheap feel to them.

Its ok - 2004 Honda Accord
By MH - December 4 - 11:20 pmI guess for the price (I paid $22K), the LX Accord is a good deal. I traded in my 01 VW Passat for the Accord and have regretted it EVERY DAY since! The car seems poorly made, the entire inside of the car rattles; we have yet to figure out what is causing the rattling after checking the glove compartment, visors and the storage area under the radio. Oh, by the way, the radio reception is TERRIBLE, the worst. I always listen to CDs as I can never get a clear radio station. The stock speakers are terrible. Also, the road noise inside the car is AWFUL. I do like the interior though, and I feel safe in this car, and most importantly, I feel like my 3 yr old son is safe.
