Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Just keeps ticking - 1993 Honda Accord

I bought my 93 Honda because I wanted a reliable used car. It hasnt let me down. It now has 109,000 My prior Accord (89) I had sold to a friend, who drove it 210,000 miles before sending it to "car heaven." Even after a fender bender three years ago, I havent had any problems. I would recommend it as a trustworthy vehicle with great gas mileage.

  • Driving experience is awful - 2010 Honda Accord
    By -

I had higher expectations from the Accord Lx Sedan. Ive only had my vehicle for one week and the driving experience is awful. My 2004 Honda accord drove so much smoother and faster than this vehicle. I can feel every bump and crack in the road while driving, the acceleration of the vehicle is depressing....what was I thinking when I purchased this car. I should have went with the sportier accord. The newer vehicles arent made like the older models. Im stuck with it now so....I guess my warranty will be my best friend.

  • First and Last Honda - 2009 Honda Accord

Talk about hype over a Honda. I have had 3 Jeep Grand Cherokees in the last 9 years and wish I had another one. Fuel economy nowhere near what Honda claims and that was the main reason I switched vehicles. Road and brake noise is extreme and the "Premium Sound System" cannot overcome much of it. Super uncomfortable driver seat and when below 20 degrees outside, better bring extra clothes. No insulation at all. Handling does not come close to the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Very disappointing. Thank goodness I can give it back in 39 months. Save your money and look elsewhere!

  • Good Solid Car - 2000 Honda Accord
    By -

Year in and year out, Honda and Toyoto are 1-2 in customer satisfaction. Why ? They build great cars that (for the most part) will last around 200,000 miles. Ive owned many different cars. Honda tops my list. This 2000 model has been good for me. No problems !!

  • Choose the accord coupe and save Big $. - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

Awesome car for the money. Chose the accord coupe EX-L 4 cylinder over an acura tl, bmw 3 and audi a4. No reason to spend an extra $10,000 to $15,000 to buy one of the others. Dealership tremendous. The most comfortable, fun, driver friendly, ergonomically perfect car in the world.

  • Dont read if you want to buy Accord - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

Died 6 days after purchase - loose connectors caused engine to malfunction + valves not correctly set in factory. Squeaks near moonroof. Other than that it is a great car - fun to drive, great gearbox, superb acceleration. It would be nice to have power passenger seat + auto dimming mirror (Honda is to cheap to include that). It would also be nice to make trunk fit better especially around lamps. It would be very nice to make a car that does not squeak for at least 2-3 months after purchase... XM radio should be optional - useless in Atlanta (no traffic reports!)

  • 03 EX V6 Coupe - 2003 Honda Accord

Smooth and quiet ride, awesome acceleration and highway power. Handles like a boat, but good enough for everyday driving. Build quality is excellent, looks like a luxury car with EX V6 and drives like one as well.

  • So So - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

I did a lot of research before the purchase of my 2008 Accord EX-L. I looked at other cars like the infiniti G35 and 3-series. The Accord has some strengths 1) fuel economy 2) pickup 3) space 4) reliability. However, there are a couple of things that kill it for me 1) terrible driver seat comfort, kills my back 2) lack luster interior design, my Acadia has much better comfort 3) the VCM drives me crazy because the constant change in cylinder use is perceptible enough to be an annoyance. I will be trading this car in for a BMW 3-series in the spring.
